Quoted from gripwhip:

For those who also have a AFMr, is it the same/recommended to hook up an external sub (alligator clips to speaker) or not even needed. LE on order.

I didn’t on my AFM SE because I didn’t think it needed it, but there are multiple schools of thought on sound and sound quality. It just was not something that was of interest to me.

My distributor said he got my SE yesterday but I’m going on a few days vacation so he’ll hold it until I get back. I have s**t for timing.

My SE arrived last night. I went through Jason at Classic Game Rooms in GA (but I am also a big fan if Coin Taker). With all the great feedback here I compiled a list of things to check out if the box. So far so good. Beautiful game and lots of fun to play.

Loving my SE. Only problem is ball flies off the right ramp in multiple spots. Trying to look for easy fixes but from what I’m reading I’m not the only one having this issue.

Quoted from Shapeshifter:

Curious on the fix as my original does this.
Do a slow mo video - mine seems to hit the other ramp entrance and then it takes off into pop bumper area.

I have three different spots on my ramp where the ball flies out. I’m at a perfect pitch and even light shots are being affected. Going to open a ticket with CG and see what they say. Batman66 had a big problem with ball flying off of the curve on the left ramp. Stern quickly sent out a fix. Hope CG has some suggestions because this is messed up.

Quoted from Ricochet:

Oh man that is beyond shitty... so sorry. What a disappointment! The delivery company told me CoinTaker was having issues with one of their carriers (I think UPS freight) damaging so many pins they had to stop using them. They use a private mom-and-pop delivery service (who are pinball people) in my area when they can. Games are shipped from the vendor to CoinTaker where they are inspected first and then sent to the customer by the mom-and-pop outfit... its actually quite nice. They showed up in a Scion xB ... I was expecting FedEx freight ... and this little car showed up. The machine fits perfectly in it (fills it up completely).

CoinTaker is great and now my go to for NIB. The delivery team also does set up and takes all the trash with them when they go. Now I just have to keep selling blood and eating nothing but ramen to pay for my latest acquisition. Really happy with my SE.

Williams Logo: Hey thanks Ricochet for making these BMP's. I had a hell of a time getting my MaC to format the SD to FAT 32. For some reason it kept defaulting to straight FAT without an option and it would not mount in the pin. My el-cheapo Windows note book simply kept creating new partitions. So, if anyone is having problems getting the FAT32 format with your MAC disk utility, I suggest using ApplePi-Baker. Once I formatted with that app (and renamed the bmp file) it loaded like a champ. You have to use applePI-baker to update the software on MB if you have a MAC anyway. Again, thanks Ricochet for the effort. It's a nice touch to have the Williams LOGO on the back box.

Apologies if this is mentioned/buried somewhere in the 100's of postings on this thread, (I did a search but did not find a reference) but I was really happy with the MB pin blades I got for my SE. They are made by a guy in England who on Pinside is known as SillyOldElf. Colors are well blended and his scenes correspond with the sections of the PF. We put these on last night and they are gorgeous. He ships from England so some extra time needed for it to arrive, but I think totally worth the wait. https://pinside.com/pinball/market/shops/1073-sillyoldelf-mods. My photos don't do the blades justice, but here is an idea of what they look like. If you have NEVER put blades on before, do yourself a favor and watch some of the youtube videos. We prefer the soapy water in a spray bottle method.

I’ve never bought an alt-translite before but I saw brian-allen at Allentown and really liked what he did here. I finally decided to get one and it came in yesterday. Looks great and it’s a really inspiring spin on the original art work. I thought I would miss the logos but this stands on its own quite well. I might frame the original translite.

No scratching yet on mine but I’m super careful when I raise it just in case. Love my LE !! 500 plays and still awesome

I bought these from pinballlife and they work great.
