Happy New Year's Everybody.

I wanted to give everybody a quick update as to what is going on here at Chicago Gaming Company.

We are in production currently on the Monster Bash Limited Edition Serial Number matching games. We are working hard to get them completed to start our standard Monster Bash Limited Edition Production run. As you know we are committed to delivering the highest quality in all of our products, so we are taking a little extra time to ensure that every game is up to the quality that we demand.

We also have released a software update for all current Monster Bash games already delivered.
This update can be found here: https://www.chicago-gaming.com/coinop/monster-bash/update

This version includes the following enhancements and bug fixes:

1) Reprocessed audio to increase volume.
2) Fixed bug where custom logo would revert to default over a power cycle.

I want to thank everybody for all the support and wish everybody a Happy New Year

I want to provide a quick update on Monster Bash production. First off, I apologize for the delays in LE production.

As many of you know, we manufacture all of our playfields in house. Each MB playfield is carefully hand silk screened with ten spot colors. This is how the original playfields were manufactured. The spot colors create a color spectrum far richer and wider than what can be produced using four-color process. Each playfield we produce is a unique handcrafted piece of art with its own unique characteristics.

I believe we are the only pinball machine manufacturer still utilizing spot colors on our playfields. Some have moved away from screen printing altogether and now digitally print their playfields in four-color process. Digitally printing is certainly more consistent and far less expensive but it comes with certain compromises.

We are trying to keep the bar as high as possible and not compromise quality. I believe with few exceptions the playfields we have shipped in every Monster Bash have been beautiful. We do hold even higher standards for playfields going into LEs. To date, our production has yielded less LE worthy playfields than we hoped. As a result, we have produced more SEs and CEs than originally scheduled (and less LEs).

We have made several changes in the screen printing process and we are finally seeing much improved results. These results are starting to allowing us to move more quickly through production of LEs.

The number of people participating in our serial number matching program far exceeded our expectations - there were 246 participants in total.

We are anticipating completing all domestic serial number matching program LEs by February 1, 2019. After that we will focus on the balance of domestic and international LEs.

I want to thank everyone for their support and allowing us to do work that we love.

I want to address the reports of cracks in the decals on the upper front corners of the Monster Bash cabinet.

As of today, this issue has occurrenced in less than 1% of all MBr games shipped. We had seen a similar issue on AFM and changed the way we wrap the decals. It seemed the issue was resolved until we started shipping in colder weather.

We have been proudly building cabinets since 1977 for nearly every pinball manufacturer and take great pride in what we build. Every game goes through multiple levels of quality control to ensure that the game going into the box is of the highest standards. We understand what the pinball community demands from a NIB game.

I want to let everybody know that this is only a decal issue and not an issue with the cabinet construction. We have built hundreds of thousands of cabinets utilizing the same corner joints and have had remarkably few issues.

In an effort to stop all cracking on the decals, we will no longer wrap the decals around the corner. We feel that this should decrease the overall risk of potential decal splitting.

Quoted from Polidori:

As far as I can tell, the disc is the only lighted thing not working. I have not tried manually depressing the interlock switch, but the disc never lights up during gameplay, even in Frank multiball.

If you access the CGC LE features Menu, you can manually turn on each feature light of the LE/SE games as well as adjust individual coil strengths and other game play settings.
