re. the poll, I ordered my LE the night they were introduced in Chicago. No reason to wait and risk not getting my serial number and a NIB game.

Quoted from ShinyBall:So, what leg protectors (if any) are you planning to install on your new machine?
None. They are not needed. I bought some for my AFMR LE and discovered it had metal stand off plates that kept the legs from contacting the cabinet art work
Quoted from Pinzzz:150 SE’s first...too work the bug’s out for the 1250 LE’s, so they arrive...Cherry!
They did the same thing with the AFMR LE's; good move for LE buyers but sorry for you SE guys. I'm sure you will be fine though because CGC makes great pins.
Quoted from mountaingamer:I’m so on the fence with this game. I have space for 3 pins and a arcade game. I’ve not owned MB in the past, but played the VIrtual Pinball version on a cab I owned quite a bit, so I get that it’s not very deep. Getting MBr nib would be a wonderful experience, with hours of fun and awe - I’m just concerned the hype will fade quickly and my wife will be pissed if I want to sell it after a few months at a 500-1k loss. I had MMr for 2 years - loved it but it too got old and got rotated out. I think the wife would enjoy MBr because it’s shiny and pretty and she’s pretty bad at pinball, and my daughter would beat it in no time..... I’m getting something - this or pirates..... convince me either way!
Easy. Get them both and rotate something else out.
Quoted from indypinhead:So glad I jumped in early for my LE
Ditto. I bought mine as soon as the unveiling occurred at Expo. Even then it took 3 different distributors until I found one that had not already sold out his allocation. Some distributors had an 'early sign up' list. Explains why they were gone so fast.
Quoted from DylanFan71:I wonder how many of the LE's are a matching number. 150? 250?
If they can actually produce 60-70 games a week, all the LE's should be done pretty quickly.
I ordered my number match LE the day they were released at EXPO and put my $1000 deposit on it. My distributor told me yesterday that I do not have to pay the balance on it until CGC is ready to ship and that will likely not occur until sometime in December. She further said that CGC is hoping to get it to me by Christmas but no promises. And CGC themselves said LE's probably will not start being manufactured until late November or early December because of a couple of parts that are particular to the LE and are not currently available. I would assume that SE's may continue production then into early December and some SE buyers may have something to put under the 'tree'. LE buyers may have to celebrate the New Year with their MBR's. I know it's tough but patience, patience.
Quoted from Pinballocd:Looks awesome! Thanks for the pics. Cannot wait!
Thanks for all the pictures;really puts my mind at ease given the earlier posts re. Play field quality. Really anxious now my LE to arrive!
Quoted from indypinhead:The ebay seller is also being an @sshole when it comes to getting a refund. He wants me to take a picture to show him what is wrong with the decals.
Just open a case with EBAY requesting a return and refund. They will process it immediately under their satisfaction guarantees. That's a problem for sellers on EBAY but it makes life easy for buyers and that's what EBAY wants and needs; happy customers.
Just heard from my distributor that LE production has begun. Most LE'S should be shipped by end of January with number matches shipping sooner. I have #456 but no indication as to where it will likely be on the calendar. Pretty consistent with what I have told previously except that a Christmas appearance seems to be out of question; HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Quoted from robotron:everything you buy at walmart is marked up 300 percent. jeeze you cheapskates out there. i dont have the time to be fussing around. pinstadiums well made and easy for me to install. worth the money to me.
mb le on order. pinstadiums in stock. invisiglass in stock. i have diabetes and my eyes are getting “old” need the lighting to see the ball.
I find that if I lose some weight it makes it easier to see my balls
FYI, my distributor just informed me that my matching LE #456 will be shipped to them by 12/31 from CGC and to me shortly thereafter
So,no special Christmas present but a Happy New Year! All good things in time.

Game Room Guys. I bought my AFMR LE from them last year too. No problems.
Quoted from andrewket:Why wire it? There was plenty of time. I sent a check via bill pay. I would prefer to use a credit card, and have even paid part of the merchant fees to do so in the past, but I understand why the distributors don’t want to eat those costs, especially when there is plenty of time to mail a check.
I guess I made a lucky choice in using Game Room guys to order my number matched LE (456). They collected $1000 upfront via my cc when I made my order last October . And now that CGC is ready to ship it, on 12/26 they collected via my cc the final balance due. Very straight forward and easy to do business with. I used them last year also when I bought my AFMR LE., also on my cc. You might want to consider them for your next pinball purchase. Hemisphere Amusements is also great to deal with. Just FYI .
RTL carriers is delivering my MBR LE #456 this afternoon. It was shipped from the Game Room Guys in Michigan to me in Oregon just before year's end. Finally, just a few more hours to wait. I will update after it is unboxed.
Hooray!
Well I have had #456 for about 1 week now and so far it has been absolutely trouble free. My first impressions are:
1. It isn't boring nor simple and for a mediocre player like myself, it is't easy. I don't remember my first one from 1996 being this tough.
2. It is well built but I think my AFMR LE is better built and has nicer finishing. The topper while nice, does not compare to AFMR'S incredible one. But really, what could?
3. I think that as good as CGC games are, JJP machines remain the standard of excellence and even at a price tag of $1500 more for LE vs. LE, they are the better choice.
4. Having said all this, CGC's MBR LE is a machine worth having. Tons of fun, great play, and very much an eyeful. If you get one, you won't be sorry. It deserves to be in any collection of consequence.
Just my opinion.....
Forgot to add a couple of pics...
