I was one of the folks who signed a NDA to play the game in August and following this I immediately contacted Cointaker to get my name on the list.
Spoke to Melissa on Monday of this week and she said their LE allocation was spoken for and that things were pretty hectic.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing!

CGC has done a great job with adding playfield protectors. However, it is not clear what protectors come installed in the shooter lane area. For example, does MBR come equipped with a shooter lane ball eject protector?

I'm trying to determine if I need to place an order with Cliffy prior to delivery of my LE.

Quoted from NPO:

LOL. You better put your order in now. Cliff is 3+ months on backorder.

So, yeah, don't think about when - just do it now. You'll prolly have your LE before you have your cliffys. Again, not a knock at Cliff - just the way things are right now.

Good advice - I ordered the complete set just to get in the que and will adjust if necessary.

Quoted from cscmtp:

And these will fit fine for the remake?

Yes - the targets will be identical to the original.

Quoted from sirlonzelot:

Yes that is it. Zoom in and find out. For me it looks terrible. I hope that this not production, as my mmrle looks perfect and nothing like that

Good eye - it does look terrible & does not reflect the quality of my MMR LE.
I played the two prototype games at CGC and both of those playfields looked perfect.

I don't think LE number has anything to do with the build sequence. Most likely based on when the order was entered into the system as well as dealer clout.

I have a matching number on order & was told mid January. Hopefully it ships sooner, but if not, time flies and it will be here before I know it.

Quoted from Lermods:

The shaker is very underwhelming in the game. It’s barely active and not worth it for this game. I notice it on Frankenstein mb and the match sequence. Much better on AFMr and mmr.

When I went to Chicago Gaming for the "NDA" review, the engineer told me they had not programmed the shaker yet and were concerned it would be over applied. I told him I thought the shaker on MMR was well executed and thought a shaker on MBR would be great. Doesn't the max setting apply it to more shots?

Added a little more color to my Monster Bash CE by way of Titan rubbers. Not needed, but just can’t keep a pin stock. Nice compliment to this great game.

Looks great! Any variation in color or 100% UV?

Woo Hoo! Just got a call from Melissa that #349 is built and ready to ship. I'm expecting a delivery next Monday or Tuesday.

#2560 5 years ago

I picked up #349 from the FedEx hub on Friday (I could have had it delivered Monday, but who wants to wait?). The build date is listed as 1/11/2019. Melissa told me CGC contacts them as soon as a machine reaches the plant dock.

Out of the box the game plays perfectly. The flipper power is set to -6 based on comments posted here. The neighbor who helped me get the game into the basement was over yesterday and I couldn't get him off the machine! He has helped me move games in the past and MBR is clearly his favorite.

An issue that I found prior to playing involved the playfield. While waxing, I noticed multiple areas with 1" diameter haze spots in the clear. This is typical in the auto industry when defects in the clear are removed with a super fine abrasive, that is what I suspect happened here. I used Novus 2 and a small orbital buffer to remove the marks and now the playfield looks perfect.

It was a minor PIA and something the plant should have caught, however I am very happy with the game and glad I did not jump ship. Having participated in purchasing a MMR LE, I am more than familiar with everyone's frustration and understand why you would want to bail. However, if MB is a game you have always wanted, CGC has knocked it out of the park. Let them correct their playfield issues and keep in mind that it wasn't too long ago that people thought this machine would never be made again.

Quoted from shock_me:

Has anyone else experienced a lot of rejects on the Brides ramp? Mine with a good flip will loop behind the Bride, and stop at the apex of the wire ramp, and roll back down. Everything seems to be adjusted right back there. Frustrating.

Ensure the entrance of the wire ramp does not impede ball flow. On my game, I found that the ball would hit the entrance edge of the wire ramp because one leg of the ramp sat too high. The stud holding the wire ramp was already tight and I did not want to drill into the playfield to make it sit lower. To fix, I removed the ramp and made the leading edge of the wire flat. This was reported to CGC so it may not be your issue, but I would check it just the same.
Making the ramp still requires a solid shot, but not making it is my issue and not the game's.

Quoted from SkaterVet:

Anyone else have in issue where one of the two pieces of the left ramp at its entry point at the top of the play field does not drop into the dug out, but rather runs on top of it? I’ve had an issue where you had to hit the left ramp just perfect or the ball would roll back down.
I finally took the glass off today and realized the ball is being slowed down because it is hitting one of the two ends of metal of the left ramp head on.
I’ve submitted a ticket to CGC, but any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.[quoted image]

I had the same issue and reported it to CGC months ago, so I am surprised the issue still exists.
To fix, I removed the ramp and placed the ramp stud into a vice and then gently hammered the ramp edge flat. I tried to file the surface but found using a hammer was much quicker. Close the vice only enough so it's top edge of the stud has something to rest against and be sure to hold the ramp while you tamp the wire form edge.

Quoted from TechnicalSteam:

I am having this exact issue wasn't sure what was going on. I plan on investigating ASAP but have a laundry list of things I gotta do downstairs.
I really thought I was off on the leg levelers.
My pet peeve is sometimes my ball gets stuck here when it rolls back down ramp. Total buzzkill.

See post #5177. If it is the same issue I experienced, then it is an easy fix.
