I'm in on the LE.
Renopinball is live now. We will be playing a LE and talking about it. Features, prices, etc. We will be showing the new promo in just a few minutes at 7pm PST.
Well at least this thread has now been vindicated.
Game looks great. Had no interest, but am now seriously considering one.
LE ordered. I had said I was going to wait until I saw Munsters, but it may end up being an and instead of an or.
Quoted from Chicoman:No way do they blow through 1250 LE's. Here we are a year and half later and there is still NIB Attack From Mars LE's and they only made $1000 of them.
I'll wait for the fire sale and get a NIB MBr LE for sub $7500.
That is the idea, enough LEs to go around for everyone that wants one now.
There were 1000 TAF gold editions made in 1993 and there were plenty of them to go around at that time too!
Anyone test Lymans Lament on the ReMake ?
is it a goer ?
With a game started, press the following sequence: 11L, 1R, 5L, 1R, 6L, 1R (spells KEF). If entered successfully Lyman Sheats will say “Totally” and your
next award at the “venue” scoop will be “Lyman´s Lament”.
Quoted from pinballaddicted:Deposit just paid for a LE..
Looking forward to adding it to our collection
Did Wayne give you an idea of when we'll get them?
Quoted from cooked71:Did Wayne give you an idea of when we'll get them?
No mate, he will let us know when he knows himself. If CGC have not started making them yet, could be a while (plenty of months). Aust is nearly last to get the games. US first, then Europe and then Aust.
I honestly thought CGC would have been cranking out the games over the last six months and storing them, looks like maybe not.
Quoted from PtownPin:If they don't start building until November (and they usually don't start with the SE and CE versions) its gonna be 3-6 months before LE's start shipping.
This has been sterns approach lately. I wouldn't be surprised if they are using the lower versions to fine tune/fix any issues in the assembly process, less LE's having double/triple length warranty hitting the street with manufacturing issues. I still think your 3-6 month window is a possibility.. I hope not the for everyone's sanity.
Since the remake uses pinmame for the emulation, Lymans Lament will be in there just like the original.
I just tested the emulated table in vpx and enabled lymans lament. It was interesting I got an extra ball and when I drained Lyman said "Oh my God the horror of it all", then the music cut out the rest of the game. I didn't recall that ever happening. hmmmm maybe that was what he planned?

Quoted from HighProtein:I heard $6000 for SE?
You heard wrong. It's $6000 for CE, $7300 for SE and $8000 for LE.
Weird turn of events....... for me. Whilst talking to my wife, who isn't as big into pinball as I am, she found out about the remake and said "huh..... that's a price I would pay". 1 day later she said "yeah.... I'd like to own that someday". One day later she said "I bet we could buy that sooner than later"..... and move to today she said "Let's see if we can buy it now!"
Crazy turn of events. One thing leads to another, we made the purchase on a Monster Bash SE just now. Why SE? We care about just a few things with this new machine; color DMD, color changing LEDs, good-sounding speakers. The SE has all of that. While the LE is nice, it doesn't have all the other stuff we really care about, so the SE it is.
Part of the club!
I have sent a deposit for LE #34, but yes the SE has all the playing things that the LE does and is almost 10% cheaper.
Robert
For me, shaker would be the only thing I would add to a SE . Does anyone know the cost and if it is an easy install ?

$150 and super easy to install if it's the same shaker CGC sells for MMr.

Will this be put in the coop or will this stay at your home? Would look great sandwiched in between DI and AFM!

Make friends with someone with a native status card. I just found out my friend has one. I'll be using it for all my future nib pins. 5% tax

It's very easy, everything needed should be there for the hookup...inserts, wiring harness. You may have to supply the attaching hardware (bolts) though...but it will be nothing special.

But you have universal health care...

oh-hoh! You read everything on these forums, eh?
Yes, to the coop it shall go.
Classic is tempting me. Topper and lock down bar look awfull but that;'s not my bag and I guess the more easy monies they get form that crowd the better.
