The excitement is gone. I'll probably get one second hand a year after it's been released.......so 2025

That's was over a week ago and only because pics were leaked. Stopped caring.
Quoted from Kiwipinhead:Does anyone else think the topper speakers look like Lego blocks?
100%

yea, but awesome lego blocks...
This game availability delay is getting to be pretty strange...seems like something got forgotten and now CGC is scrambling to recover.
It’s essentially the same game, with a topper & color display.
It has to be some issue with the topper.
I can't see CGC buying parts for a 1000 games without getting some kind of approval from the rights holders. Can't see them stupid enough to go ahead without knowing that the game is approved.
The time delay, being this long, is odd.

We may never know. The mechs aren’t very complicated, and the topper shows it’s not that hard to get sculpts done of the monsters. I’m Of the opinion it has to be some rights issue, or that Universal is holding up approvals for some reason.
If it were me, I’d replace the toys in the game with more screen-accurate versions, but maybe that’s then not a “remake”

I would Highly doubt they would postpone production and revenue This long for a topper. Heck even Stern ships games a year before topper completion and approval. Plus the topper was nothing special that they would delay all sales. Somebody is taking their time with a licensing signature.
I read in a thread that someone thinks the holdup might be due to George Gomez's mechs...and Stern is making them redesign them.
I find that interesting, but doubt it:
1. The mech's probably were patented, and
2. Any patents would have run out long ago.
Robert
Wouldn't those designs have been the rights of Williams anyways, not sure how Stern could have any involvement there
Quoted from Quadrat:Can't wait until pricing comes out

I really hope they keep the Customer Loyalty program alive. This is honestly the only title on the market I am excited about.
What I am not excited about is the anxiety I have on price.

If they keep the pricing the same as AFMR and they have Customer Loyalty program, for me it will be a home run.
Quoted from andrewket:SDTM just posted on FB that Flip N Out is taking orders.
Larry is the Best of the Best.
Quoted from indypinhead:Any prices listed? I'm on the FB page, but I don't see anything on Monster Bash.
No, and I don’t see anything on CGC either. Perhaps Zach pulled the trigger a little early.

Maybe a tad early, but I expect distributors know pricing and can accept orders. They just can't advertise them yet?

Have a link? I couldn’t find it.
Quoted from bkaelin:ignorant question....what's the loyalty program?
If you already owned a MMR LE and you were buying a AFMR LE you would get LE number matching pins and you got your LE in the first run of LE pins. I have 851. I don't care that much about 851, but like getting the pin early.

Here ya go
Quoted from bkaelin:ignorant question....what's the loyalty program?
I'm not sure what to think of their "loyalty program". I'm an original owner of MMrLE, purchased through PPS. I contacted PPS about getting on the list for the MBrLE. From the conversation I had w/ Planetary, it sounds like I "might" get the MBrLE, but I'm at the back of the list. I guess if you don't purchase their latest remake, there's really not much loyalty to the program.
I guess I should have bought the AFM....
Just got call from my distributor....$8300 for the LE (shipped), $1000 deposit down, production starts on 11/9. I’m guessing they’re going to make a bunch of SE’s first and then the LE’s....just like they did with AFMr.
Quoted from EricHadley:I was told $8300 shipped
exactly what I paid for my AFMRLE....$8300 delivered
If they don't start building until November (and they usually don't start with the SE and CE versions) its gonna be 3-6 months before LE's start shipping.
I bet they'll crank them out fast! They've had months to get assemblies prep'd and ready to go. Probably 100 classics and then LE's. I bet we see LE's by December

I'll take that bet

I'm in for an LE with Joltin' Joe Newhart. The pix and price point persuaded me to dive in. Thanks to pinside for fueling the fire. Looking forward . . .
