Quoted from LTG:

On Monster Bash. Yes. That hole starts getting chewed up instantly in home or on location.
LTG : )

What makes it different?

#1602 5 years ago
Quoted from Higloss67:

Pinball life had Cliffy’s. Got one last week

I believe PBL only stocks the regular “big” Cliffy. You want the slimline one, which you have to order from Cliffy himself. The Mantis protector works great by itself though

#1603 5 years ago
Quoted from Deez:

What makes it different?

No idea. The problem arose right away and Larry Demar and another person taped a video of it and watched in slow motion and discovered it was the ball going in that chews it up so bad, not coming out. Game was in production then so nothing was done about it.

LTG : )

Quoted from hawknole:

It looks to me like Cliff calls ALL his protectors “hyperthin” and the narrower MB one he calls “black line”.

That is true.

MBr is a wonderful game. What a great time to be in the hobby. Just tons of fun.

#1606 5 years ago

Then went to the CGC menu and finally figured out its called "Right Popper".

I’m having a hard time finding this adjustment... where is this supposed “CGC MENU”

Hold down escape for a few seconds to activate it.

#1608 5 years ago

I just came up from playing a few games and I'll tell you what, that Mummy is one hell of a bass player.

The mummy rocks!! Best character in the game !!!

#1610 5 years ago

After about a month and ~200 games... we are still loving our MBr CE!

The only adjustment I've needed to make so far is the Dracula hit contact. He wasn't registering hits all the time so I had to slightly bend the contact.

No ramp issues, no "Cliffy" issue, no low volume issue... nothing other than the Dracula thing above.

Neat thing is there has only been one day since taking possession that I haven't played at least a handful of games. And that one day I was out of town.

So happy with our purchase!

Anyone having issues making the left ramp? I’ve checked levelness, pitch and misalignment but it still takes an absolutely perfect shot to make the ramp. I’ve also had to set flipper power to max which affects Phantom Flip.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ed K.

Anyone turned the GI to all white on the special edition?

#1614 5 years ago

Setting R popper to max solved my SDTM drain issue when the ball is ejected from the hole. I was setting L popper before... which is not the correct setting !!!

Fur sure.

Anyone know when the color chip is being released?

#1617 5 years ago

I got my MBRLE this week and set it up last night for Christmas this morning. There was a rubber piece in with the bag of fuses. Does this piece go under the glass stuck to the apron to keep the glass from rattling?

#1618 5 years ago
Quoted from PinballHog:

I believe it on the apron. To rest the playfield when it's up and leaned back. Middle front of the apron.

That’s what I thought. I just wanted to get another opinion. Thanks Lloyd.

Has anyone with a NON matching serial number LE received a request to pay their balance in full (and/or received shipping notification)? I’m guessing the answer is no, but thought I’d ask anyway.

I paid mine in full when I put my name in for it, I am being told first half of January for my NON matching machine.

#1622 5 years ago

Anyone know if CGC's warranty is transferable to the 2nd owner?

#1623 5 years ago

I've been paid in full on a matching #LE since Nov. 15th. Not a peep from PPS on when it'll ship.

I was told that my machine should be in the 1st batch or 2.

I'm thinking about asking for a refund.

#1624 5 years ago

I was debating paying my balance in the hopes that I would somehow get a quicker ship date. I would hope they would start shipping soon, since January is only a week away!

#1625 5 years ago

When does the color update get released for the CE?

#1626 5 years ago

Wow some of you are impulse buyers eh? lol.

I actually told my distro to put mine toward the bottom of the list so I'm looking at Feb/March.

Quoted from NightTrain:

I don’t know if it is transferable, but if the first owner didn’t fill the card out I believe you can submit it instead.

#1628 5 years ago

I paid mine off last week as well and not news to the ship date I'm not on the matching number system.

It's not.

Can you post a pic of where it's suppose to go when you have a chance? Thanks

#1633 5 years ago
Quoted from ChiroCop:

Could be slightly different from game to game. Lift your playfield up and lean back against the backbox. It should go on the apron on a spot that the rubber thingy rests on the backbox top edge when leaned back.

I also pd Nov 15th on a non matching LE and was told by PPS January, Maybe December.

WOW.....thats ridiculous....did they request the payment in full?

#1638 5 years ago

Coming soon... Page 34. Bright to you by Pinstadium and Cliffy.

#1639 5 years ago

I have a matching number on order & was told mid January. Hopefully it ships sooner, but if not, time flies and it will be here before I know it.

I've an SE and I've just noticed that my monster figurines do not have "improved detail"... the mad scientist has no face detail and the bride has no color whatsoever. I will take a better pic later tonight and see if its consistent with what other people have... or don't

I also have an SE and mine looks just like yours.

I submitted a ticket, the response was "they look fine to me". ... and they may be fine. They just don't look as "detailed" as they show on the CG website. I'm going to get a better pic for the help desk.

This may just be a difference in what the photos show as "enhanced" and what reality turned out to be.

Maybe somebody can compare them to their LE versions?

Are the pop bumpers not orange in the remakes?

They are clear. The LEDs are RGB on the SE/LE... I think this is why.

Weird. I will have to check out a video. Seems like that would wreck the moon and mummy GI effects

I don't have enough experience with the original to compare / contrast this. This thing is wicked colorful and animated ... kind of crazy really.

That's what they look like on my LE.

Since the poppers change color and intensity during game play...not at all.
