Here is one on ebay ebay.com link: itm

Here is someone's site about a ton of mods they did to their game. Can't vouch for any of it though.

1991-1993 somewhere in there. Was a cross promotion with Universal Studios.

We are gauging interest in MMR RGB kits and XL Display kits. XL display kits will be available for all models with the small display. feel free to email [email protected] to get on a list. We are ordering parts now and since these have not been offered in quite some time, we want to make sure all who want them can get them.

This sounds promising that the next MMr run is moving forward. Nice!

Very cool! I have a SE so I’m good. But that’s great news!

Don't think this is them saying they are running full games (even though it would make senses to do so along with kits).

I'm interested, I have a CE with the 13 and 7/8 inch display and the HD color upgrade. I'd like a little more info on this. What is the price and what is included? I'm assuming the 19 and 1/4 inch display and the frame to accommodate it. Does it included the SE/LE speakers with LED lighting?

I got this correction from Jim.

"CCR is only the large display.
These would be for MB, AFM and MM.
The speakers would be upgraded in this kit as well. New speakers in the speaker panel and a new 8 ohm center speaker too!"

Thank you,

Any mention of price? I'm guessing this is the "0711-XLCD - XL Display & Premium Enhanced Sound System Upgrade Kit" item listed on their site which was once priced at $649.99.

No idea from me. I don't know if CGC knows yet.

My right orbit is not activating/advancing the Wolfman. However, when I go into test mode and test the switch below, it seems to be working. I don't understand the mechanism for advancing Wolfman, but assume it is triggered by this switch. This problem may have started when the swinging wire at the base of the R orbit came loose (not sure). Any ideas? Thanks

Might be a long shot, but one thing to check is the plunger lane switch - if that triggers or maybe if it's stuck, the game ignores the right orbit for a short time, since it assumes a ball hitting that came up from the plunger.

Also, you mean to advance Wolfman before the mode is started, right? Once the mode starts, an orbit shot (either one) must go all the way around to count (except for the fourth one that ends the mode.)

Thanks for your suggestion. Turned out that when the wire came loose on the switch below, I didn't put it back together properly. The metal arm that is supposed to be above the wire had fallen below. This shows correct reposition.

So I guess that must mean that the 2 switches in sequence are what validate that a Wolfman shot was made.

Yeah, I think so.

This would explain the behavior I see in my OG Monster Bash. When I hit that right orbit, the Wolfman sometimes doesn't register, and I am fairly sure it is because the next switch in the loop doesn't quite trigger as reliably when the ball comes from the right.

Ran into a snag today on my MBr SE. I was cleaning it and decided I'd finally look at an issue I'd been having with the lowest LED on Swampy ("Muck") which was always dimmer than the rest. Lifted the playfield, reseated the connection, and powered back up. Now I've got solenoids not firing - literally none in the test except the left and right gates are working.

First checked F103 - swapped with the left flipper fuse, which is the same, and left flipper works but solenoids don't. Also pulled and tested the fuse, tests good. Checked all LEDs. Noticed two things - first, the LED CR107, which is indicative of F107, is dimmer than the rest. Didn't know if that was an issue or not, so I replaced F107, no luck.

Also noticed that CR105 on the solenoid power board was not lit when running. That LED is labeled as "CODE" and is supposed to be flashing on boot (it does this) and normally on. Anyone else confirm that CR105 is on? And what does "CODE" mean?

I did a full investigation of wiring under the playfield but since it's affecting all the solenoids, I am confused as to what it could be.

Thanks for any thoughts!

Fixed. Pulled out the high voltage button and was able to play. Pressed back in and somehow it kept working. Switch might have been in an odd state. Thanks to Lloyd for the help.

Try playing a game with coin door open and high power interlock switch pulled out.

If that doesn't do it. Turn the game off. Reseat cable between playfield board and board in the head. Be sure all the connectors to boards in the head are on tight.

Has anyone replaced the speakers in their MBr SE or LE? The Pyle’s from the factory are exactly that. When I got mine (with over 10,000 plays) one of the speakers crackled heavily, the other slightly. I bought another pair of the same and out of the box one of them already crackles. Looking to see if anyone has found a nice alternative. Would 25W/75W speakers be sufficient? Most of the more reputable brands tend to be rated that way for 2-way 3.5” drivers.

New to the club with an LE.

Is there supposed to be a ball save at the beginning of each ball?

By default no. I turned on a couple seconds of it for those once in a while early ball drains.

I have the ball save time maxed out, which I think is 30 seconds, but it does not ball-save on Ball 5, I assume that is something set in the programming. Most people are probably playing three-ball games, so not an issue. At my skill level, 5 balls is good.

I asked some CGC guys at TPF last month, and they confirmed that another run of MMr would be done "near the end of this year". I did say to them that this is what they've told me during the previous two TPFs and they said "but this time we mean it...".

Take that for what it is worth...

I play my WOZ at 5 balls but my advice is dial it back to 3 balls for MB. The code is fun but not very deep. You will see it all WAY too fast IMO. No way you will ever see the end of JJP like WOZ.

Easy question: is there a setting for "family friendly" callouts? I'd like to avoid the "monstrous organ" callouts when the kids play. (Honestly, I think it'd go right over their heads, but I'm trying to avoid dirty looks from the parents) I looked in the manual but couldn't find a setting. Thanks!

Disregard, I found it. A.2 19.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the entire bride assembly? I got the head off, but can't seem to unscrew the rod on the coil. I can't see anything that's causing it to be stuck/catch on.

Page 2-21 in the manual. It screws into the top of the plunger.

Probably have to hold the plunger and then unscrew it.

Thanks LTG, eventually got it unscrewed, the lock washer was a bit jammed and there was a lot of gunk in the threads. Recommended to grease it when putting it all back together?

Thanks LTG. This mech is....what a giant pain in the ass. Doesn't move smooth after reassembling. Think part of the plunger threads are a bit damaged so going to get another one and re-try next week. Everything else going well with the full shop/fix but I want to throw the machine out the window if I have to mess with that rod ever again

Joined the club this weekend with a very nice condition LE with < 2500 plays on it.
