Those are awesome too! Amazing talent!

Quoted from MMP:

Please post a pic with your blue powder coat when you get the game. I was considering doing my legs up in some medium/lighter blue.
Agreed, the silly old elf inner cab art is awesome.

Here is the example I’m getting next week…

Nice blue color! are those plastic washers under the leg bolts? Need to find some matching blue anodized bolts

Yep, the current owner put those on. I use nylon washers on most of my pins too, especially if the legs are powder coated. I think both PU-Parts and Pinball Life sell them in many colors.

Agree, Brian's art is all hand drawn, next level stuff. Not just stuff stolen off the internet (some of the competition).

I thought you might catch her in time! I added pop bumper caps to my order recently after I forgot them! She is awesome. I keep lots of those vinyl washers on hand. They seem to come in handy.

Margaret really is the best in pinball parts; she bent over backwards for me with nary a request, getting out node boards to me, watching for delivery truck, calling me to manually run card when online store wasn’t working, and got them out overnight. Felt like a real team player, on team chickenscratch.

What do you all use to clean the clear plastic above the swamp creature? Getting a trail there that I want to get rid of but don’t want to scratch it up

I’ve never been able to avoid this, and my old routed MB had a massive gouge in the swamp plastic before i replaced it

Is there a pre-cut Mylar piece ? I suppose I could just buy a big ol sheet

I've been over on the CCr thread and a few folks noted that CGC made a kit to upgrade your MMr classic edition into a Limited edition. I was wondering if they had put anything like that out for MBr. While a larger display would be great, I mostly want to get rid of the warm white bulbs. I have terrible low light vision and would love to bump this baby into some cool whites.

The short answer is no. LLoyd has already explained a couple times on CGC's behalf that the upgrade kit was an answer to the MMr owners who bought the original limited editions and no longer felt that they had a limited edition. The kit allows the MMr to be upgraded to a royal edition with a couple drawbacks. no RBG in the pop bumpers and no black sparkly powdercoat.

My apologies, the person stated it was a standard ad I read that to mean classic. That makes sense. Do you know by chance if I can swap my light boards out on my classic so I can get a brighter light in there?

#8168 1 year ago

I love how all the chatter is completely focused on MMr and its re-release in 2 years . CCr Who ? Both threads, this and CCr "hype" thread .

The RGB GI kit can be installed in a Classic MMR. It is GI only, not all the lights or pop bumpers.

Nerdygrrl was asking about upgrading to her MBr CE, not MMr. I'm interested in this as well as I also have a MBr CE.

Unfortunately I believe the answer is no again. I’m in the same boat. MBr ce here too. I’m in the minority though as I like all the games better as the classic. You can however still add more lighting as I’m planning on adding post lights and some extra trough and spot lights. Just like the originals, they do need a bit more light. Pin stadium lighting looks to be a great product, just not for me. I would want a more permanent solution and routering a channel in the cabinet to attain that is a bit too much like work

Another owner of MBr CE... & So happy with my PS such a game changer night & day!!
It's a layered led light show w/ UV & not too bad an install in fact I'd say I like it more than the color chip it just integrates so well.

Being able to dial in any color on the dime through the app really makes the colors pop whilst eliminating glare.

IMO Orion belt isn't really needed just NEO

#8175 1 year ago

I put pinstadims on my se and love it!
They aren't for everybody but I love em. When that uv flasher goes crazy the colors really pop!

Does anyone who bought the tesla coil dome mod have the original stacked plastic coil flasher dome they would be willing to sell? Message me if so. I have the mod but would like the original left tower. I only have the one on the right. Thanks!

Personally I wouldn't just because it obscures the artwork on the cab.

I haven't looked this up, but with the MBr classic did anyone upgrade to color gi? was that possible? DIdn't know if cgc used. the same kit from mmr gi upgrade for mbr. XL screen I hear was made to work with mbr, so that is covered, but the color gi was pretty awesome when we played one this weekend.

#8192 1 year ago
Quoted from northvibe:

No kit available for it.

Kits were for MMR only so those games weren't left behind with some of the improvements.

Looking for opinions on fair price for MB classic these days. I stepped away from pinball for a while but I'm back and looking to buy. I've been offered a new in box MB classic, it has color chip and shaker, no option to separate those it's a package deal. I guess they were $6k with no add-ons when released but are hard to find now and I'm guessing price will be higher once they get to another run since Stern just had a significant price increase? I'm curious what pinside thinks.

You are correct, with these options, this package was around $6200. The color DMD is just a chip and the shaker motor...is well self explanatory.

I would think that $6500 would be a good deal in today's market.

I own a classic edition and love it. Plays like a brand new MB and looks amazing.

Thanks. Just realized I forgot to mention his asking price of $7500. Seems a bit high to me even if it is hard to find. So sounds like you'd agree that's a bit high.

That's what I'd sell mine for 7500 color chip, Titans, Ninja balls, Plastic protectors, target & shooter lane decals & pin stadium neo w/ Orion belt.

I missed out on a routed, but nice MB SE for $7,300 about 2-3 months ago (I was second in line and replied an hour after it was posted, but already sold). I'd say that was a good deal. I've seen more LE's come up recently of the bunch, and those appear to be $9.5-10k. To maybe add around $1,200-$1,500 for each model vs the NIB MSRP for a HUO.

#8198 1 year ago

Tempted to sell mine I really like that jp pro.

Hey all, I’m on the lookout for a MBr Classic near the Louisville, KY area. Have a nice Deadpool Pro to trade. PM me if interested.

I passed on Deadpool to buy my MBrLE... did not regret it.
