Quoted from Rdoyle1978:

Those flaps are the greatest invention ever. You can buy them at PBL for a couple bucks and save your games from being destroyed by ball bearing hail! most WPC games can accomodate them - although not TZ apprarently

Just put them in CV and MBr. Easy install.

Started my MBr LE this afternoon and my right flipper started moving as soon as I started the game. Moves up and down a little without me touching the flipper button and stays for the most part in the up position. I used all of my technical skills to troubleshoot (turned machine off and back on again) to no avail. Any ideas?

If it stays up when the game of powered off, you have a mechanical problem. Check for binding, etc in the affected flipper mechanism.

If it returns to neutral position when the game is powered off, you have an electrical problem. I would start in switch test and see if the flipper button is somehow stuck on. If that's not it, I would reach out to CGC as that could indicate a board problem such as a shorted transistor.

#6954 3 years ago

Looking at buying used and it seems the CGC warranty is nontransferable. This a big deal for Monster Bash or are they holding up OK?

Thanks, it does not stay up when the game is powered off

holding up OK?</blockquote

I've had one in commercial use since they came out. Spinner bracket and switch came a little loose. That has been it. Other than normal cleaning and waxing.

Bear in mind, I do help with their tech support.

Do a switch test and see if the flipper is being held with the button. Do that with the coin door open so you don’t cook the coil. Recommend that you contact CGC via their help desk.

I posted about 2 weeks ago on this. Switches 63 and 73, right orbit and the switch where the ball stops on the wire form before frankenstein multiball, register scores but no sounds. I assume that the right orbit should make some sort of sound. Any insight is appreciated.

Has anyone seen a decal or other doodad for the CE speaker panel?
It's pretty boring and could use some help.

I joined the club today!! One of my all-time top pins. I'm stoked!

Pics coming soon

I don't think there are many mods for the mbr. I got the mezel mod plastic swamp algae, junk. Fell off and later broke.

I like the looks of the Frank table mod. But I don’t own it. There was also an alternative back glass that looked really nice.

I wish there was a wolfman figure. Maybe there is and I am just unaware...

Do you mean switch out Frank for Bride of Frank on the table?

The Mezel Mods table does really improve the appearance of the table over stock. Looks much better.

I once saw a Wolfman Toy with LED lit eyes...

#6967 3 years ago

LE doesn’t need any mods. We paid enough for it, it better not need anything

#6968 3 years ago

I did add the rgb trough light from lermods, I thought the game was a little dark by the flippers, and it adds a cool effect to the alive again light between the flippers

#6969 3 years ago

How about Drac Trac Cliffy....

#6970 3 years ago

It already has Mylar around it I have almost 2000 plays on mine so far no wear on drac trac yet

Oh that's not stock? I guess prior owner added that to mine - I also see the wood Frankenstein table installed. I don't like the reflections from the trough light on the DMD screen though.

Lol! It autocorrected wolfman to woman.

I would be interested in a wolfman figure
Gorgar666 where did you see it?

I did get a really cool universal studios monsters wolfman keychain on eBay for about 11 bucks, however.

You can find that on the following website: https://www.pinballdecals.com/index.html

I personally also changed out the tesla coils on my game, which I believe are also on MezelMods.

Wow, I’ve been looking for a nice FOB that matched, other that the standards stuff. Link? Thanks!

ebay.com link: itm

Monster Bash is based off all the classic monsters from universal studios. There were several series released of those monsters in action figures, toys, etc. I think they are the best matches to the pin. If you google or look up on eBay "universal studios monsters" or individual names (Dracula, Frankenstein, wolfman, the mummy, bride of Frankenstein, creature from the black lagoon, etc) you can find a lot of goodies.

Hi guys,

I have a question; I juste installed the CGC shaker in my SE MBR.
Works just fine in test in the CGC menu.
However, in game it does not activate once.
Am I missing something here?

Yes, there is a setting in the menu for shaker intensity, which includes "Off".

it's on max
Was the first thing I set.

#6984 3 years ago

Shaker doesn’t activate for too many things in the game. Easiest in game check (for me) is Frank multi-ball.

So just to be clear, you are saying it doesn’t activate during Frank multi-ball?

#6985 3 years ago

I have an MBr-SE with the shaker and it works fine.
It will also shake during the "match" sequence, and when starting most of the "monster" modes.

Pop bumpers too

#6987 3 years ago

well I tried several stuff and it did not activate. Did not try the Frankie MB.

Just tried the frankie MB: It does activate for super jackpots.
Does not activate for pop bumpers, but does activate at the end of the match.

Very lightly used indeed... Quite disappointed here, why didn't they implement it for more than that?
It's sol light I tought it was not even working

What version of the CGC code are you running?
They made some adjustments to this in the most recent version.

#6989 3 years ago

Well at least you know it works now.

I’m with mbeardsley on this one. Make sure you’re running the latest and greatest software. Latest rev also does fantastic things for volume control and helps some people that were getting too many sdtm from the scoop.

Yes, they greatly increased the volume...probably too much actually. I have mine now set on close to the lowest possible volume - and it's still plenty loud.
If you were to set it above 50%, you'd either destroy your speakers or your eardrums (or both).

same with attack from mars. my gosh, the volume is too loud on there. having it between 3- 7 and is more than loud enough. it came defaulted on 20 or something like that. you could hear it down the block at that level.

#6993 3 years ago

f*** me, the software update is the first stuff I do with new pins, but this one being a remake my mind got blocked and did not even think about it!
Will do so asap!

#6994 3 years ago

Ok, it is muuuuch better with the new code. Thanks a lot!

#6995 3 years ago

Up date the code.

#6996 3 years ago

Now that I have updated I am having issues with the animations; I have a SE
For Frankie, when hitting the bank, the very last frames or switching to the monochrome old style
For the wolf, opposite; most of the frames when reaching an orbit are old style and only the last ones are new style and colored

Any idea?

#6997 3 years ago

Wow,Post pictures. I don’t understand the question. I never noticed a change on up date...

#6998 3 years ago

In case anyone is lurking and looking, my MBR is up for sale at $7,000. Replacing it with a KISS LE (don't hate me )

The left ramp seems to stop my call maybe 1 out of 15 or 20 times on a very powerful flip from the right flipper. The ball is going like crazy, it passes the tight turn and then stops before it would continue the downhill part of the ramp, instead, falling backwards. Anyone else experience this? ...and fix?

Check to see if the ball is hitting the wire-form that’s screwed into the playfield In the turn that feeds that ramp. On mine the wire-form was hitting the ball and taking all the momentum off the ball. I ended up taking a dremel tool to it and grinding it down.
