flipper rubber and a clearance gauge for setting flipper bat height (above the table).

Extra stuff, cool, thanks for the reply.
Quoted from gmagno:Assembling MB at the moment. What are these parts for?[quoted image]
Those are spare /replacement flipper rubbers and that’s a flipper gauge.

Thanks for the encouragement, already did. I noticed in idle mode before or after a game it doesn't play music. Is it supposed to be silent in idle mode? I read and couldn't find info on this.
I have had my monster bash LE for 2-3 months now and I have noticed recently that the jets/pop bumpers at the top are very insensitive. When the ball hits the bumpers, they seem to respond about 1/3 to 1/2 of the time. I have never adjusted the jets/pop bumpers or is there a setting on the machine that makes them more sensitive so when the ball touches them they respond. Thanks for the help.

Quoted from donjagra:Anyone having issues with the ball hanging up near the bride?
Yeah I had that issue. On a weak left ramp shot the ball would occasionally get stuck as it went around the first curve of the ramp. It would require the glass being removed or shaking until tilt to dislodge it.
I fixed it with a combination of increasing the playfield angle to 6.8 and slightly adjusting one side of the ramp. I flicked the ball slowly up the ramp with my finger to simulate a weak ramp shot. I did this over and over until I got the adjustment just right. No problems since.
Just got MBLe #566! Very happy with it. Noticed the code version on DMD Dec 2018 1.0.2. Is this the latest?
Is it the same as the one on CG website? 102.7z?

The ".7z" part means it's a 7-zip file, it's not part of the version number. It should be the same as 1.0.2, so you're up to date.
I had a very long game tonight, got monster bash twice and had all monsters and instrument inserts lit, but "monsters of rock" mode never lit to start. I thought when all the monster and instrument inserts were lit, you got monsters of rock after shooting the scoop. What am I missing?

I usually am missing either Bride or Wolfman, because the instruments are white, and stray light makes the drumset look lit when it isnt, same for the microphone sometimes..., when you light all instruments MOR starts flashing immediately even if Monster bash was lit already, at least thats what happens on mine.
I’ve never bought an alt-translite before but I saw brian-allen at Allentown and really liked what he did here. I finally decided to get one and it came in yesterday. Looks great and it’s a really inspiring spin on the original art work. I thought I would miss the logos but this stands on its own quite well. I might frame the original translite.

Thanks, I must not have had all the instruments lit then. That would explain it!
Quoted from SkaterVet:A good game today, but I still haven’t made it to MoR.[quoted image]
I have only got MoR twice and it keeps you rockin and rollin!

I had a bash in my birthday suit. Very refreshing, and liberating .
Highly recommended.

Oh, my. Hope you got MOR!
My CE was delivered today. For those of you with the color chip is that a setting, or something that needs to be installed separately? I was expecting full color, but maybe there is a 2nd delivery?

The color chip is an extra $399. It can be bought from the distributors. You have to install it (if you didn't order your CE with it). Without the color upgrade, you can choose the mono chrome color on the DMD.
Example distributor:

Page 1-11 in the manual. In the CGC Menu - check if Colorization is ON.
If so and no color, then you need the color upgrade chip.

It's a chip that needs to be installed, but there is also a setting to enable it.
ETA: Sorry, just noticed others already replied to this.
Thanks all. I already purchased from distributor when I bought the game. Will take another look at it shortly. Thank you for such speedy replies.
Quoted from Flynnyfalcon:I’d like to simply play mine ... still waiting.
I got an email this week saying mine should be shipping next week! I haven't been on the boards in months. I hope they got all the kinks worked out to make the wait worth it!

Thanks for posting this pic! Brian and I have been busy with these as sales have been outstanding. We are nearing the end of the run of this alternate glass, so if you want one, now might be the time to jump. We will not make anymore of this 125 limited run once they are sold. Feel free to pm me or Brian with any questions
Thanks so much..Aaron
I'm having issues with my trough consistently kicking out balls.
Sometimes it takes 4-5 tries before finally kicking a ball out. Have others had this issue? If so, what are people doing to fix it?
Quoted from Rockytop:I'm having issues with my trough consistently kicking out balls.
Have you treied adjusting the strength in the CGC menu ? Page 1-10 in the manual or -
If the ball goes up and hits the flap that diverts it to the shooter lane and goes back down, you need to bend it out a teeny bit.
http://www.pinplay.com/5/adjusting_the_ball_trough_on_woz.html For WOZ - same principle.

Thanks Lloyd! I'm an idiot and forgot all about that.
I was actually talking to Larry Kitchen right before I saw your post and he reminded me.
I tried the max setting and it was still messing up, but I set it to +1 and that has done the trick so far.
I got a good playfield and cabinet... very happy with the build quality. The game plays great with minimal adjustment right out of the box. I was making a few color tweaks to see what fits, and really like amber star posts in drac area. I also wanted to put some white silicone lamp covers on the LEDs near the shooter lane to tone that down a bit. Silly question though- are these lights replaceable if one goes out?

I too would like to tone those lights down a bit...I was actually thinking of yellow covers on them though...any thoughts?
Although you cannot tell from that pic, I already installed the white ones there. Had to remove lamp from bottom, and push back up. It definitely helps and is good enough for my eyes. Yellow would change the color a bit more.

Yes, they are replaceable. If you go into the CGC menu, you can adjust the brightness of the GI, the backbox, the inserts and adjust the incandescent emulation. You can really dial this game to look just like the original!
I like to play in the dark and turning down the GI and inserts to -3 looks perfect to me. I also like the slow emulation.
hi all you monster bashers, I can really use some help, I recently picked up an LE nib. 2 questions, I have read often that the flippers should be at minus 6. I can not figure out how to do this. 2, I picked up the Brian Allen back glass alt art and it seems that the lighting is to powerful to really have the colors pop. is there any way to lower the brightness of the back glass lighting? any help would be greatly appreciated.
You will find both setting in the CGC options menu. Hold the escape button inside coin door down for 5 seconds to enter

The smaller one goes to the right side of the upper right pop bumper. The plastic it protects has the Sphinx on it. Not sure about the remake, but this is an often skipped protector on vintage games. The plastic standoff things don’t hold the plastic very Weller e
I've had my MBLE Remake #566 for about 2-1/2 weeks now and just a couple days ago, the ball started having a rough time getting up in the shooter lane. Sometimes it will try 5-6 times to get the ball up there. In fact, it even went thru a ball search just as the ball made it up there once. Happens about 1 out of 3 times.
Any ideas what tweak is needed?
Thanks!
