Hey all, this is my first post here. Just wanted to basically vent and say I cant believe what a terrible experience this has been waiting for my MB LE. I ordered mine within the first hour that these became available and have had to almost beg my distributor for updates since then. When I did get an update it was almost as if I was bothering them.

I just got word 2 weeks ago that my LE is ready to ship so i sent in the remaining balance, nothing again, no word on shipping schedule nothing except that my payment was received. Just hard to believe that CGC and some distributors work this way and the customer service can be this bad. For an $8000 pinball we deserve better customer service. I understand its not the distributors fault the playfields were delayed.

Lessons learned: I will NEVER buy anything preorder again and I will NEVER use or recommend this distributor, which i will not name as of yet. Hopefully I will eventually get my game, which honestly I dont even want anymore. Sorry for the vent just had to share with someone

Stay strong brother, you’ll get your game and it will be amazing. There’s no excuse for your distributor to not keep you informed, but there’s plenty of other good ones to turn to.

I have been in your shoes. See some of my previous 335 posts... that being said, if you could walk a minute in mine, now that I have had it for a decent length of time... your anxiety will fade, your remorse will abate, hell you may end up enjoying it, but the journey to get it has been washed away by the sheer joy of getting to MOR and putting up a huge score, the lights, the iconic characters, the camp and the glam of a rock concert rolled into a nice flowing, super frustrating, not real deep on rules, but huge on throwing down a gauntlet every time you start a game... can you rock before bash sucker? Didn’t think so...

Bublehead you should have a weekly post of this sort. At least until I get mine, which by now I can say should be July....

I got to play an LE yesterday. First time I have had an opportunity to play MB that wasn't a virtual/ video game adaptation. It was amazing! Played and looked beautiful. It sounds like this has been a major headache for people still waiting on theirs, but based on what I saw yesterday, it should be worth it.

Sorry to hear about people waiting. I waited about 7 or so months for AFMr LE. I got lucky with MBr LE and found a distributor with one in stock. Had it within a week.

Waiting sucks, but the game is beautiful. I’ve never really played MB in person and the digital version on pinball arcade doesn’t do it justice. Like others have said the wait is worth it. It was for AFMr.

How many people actually have a game? Every time I check this thread it’s about somebody disappointed or waiting for their delivery... who’s actually playing the game?

So I had a chance to scoop up an le out of the blue last week. This would be my wife's grail pin. And Wow what a machine. Chicago gaming did great job on building what was already a visual masterpiece. #1244 almost the end of the run.

I used this forum as a vent while I waited. I tried to find some humor in it, but there is not a lot of “happy” vibes coming from pinball addicts waiting on a fix. Monster Bash was a “holy grail” title for me, I was a huge fan of B/W 90’s titles, and never got tired of finding a MB on site somewhere to drop a few bucks into... here in Phoenix there was a guy who had a beautiful OG MB on site at Superstition Springs Mall that he kept looking immaculate and I dopped more than my share of coin in that sucker, played it every time I took my wife to her hair stylist. The task of getting to MOR is deep enough a challenge to keep most players occupied for weeks, Lymans Lament and Super Six will challenge even the most accurate of wizards. Not sure why people think the rules of pinball need to go any deeper than this machine for casual players. I bought a Family Guy knowing the deep rules on that would challenge me for years and yes, it has, but what good is a wizard mode you only see once or maybe even NEVER? I have yet to get to Sperm Attack MB in Family Guy, and never got to Super 6 or Lymans Lament on Pinball Arcade version of MB, nor in real life on an OG or remake, and I am a pretty good player, I have Ruled the Universe, traveled to The Final Frontier, MOR, just about every wizard mode of every machine in the 90’s... and I play my MB now daily... get to MOR about once a week right now, but still havent got the default 200M MOR Champion score knocked off yet... 198M... close but no cigar.

I have my SE about 5 months. Love it! Not as easy as lots are saying. FUN. Added side art, shaker, plasma disc and changed some rubber to add more color.

another email sent asking for shipping information on my LE, another email ignored. funny I thought the game was "ready to ship out"?

Im going on vacation and need to know asap but apparantly im not important enough to this distributor for a return email. Once(if) this transaction is over Ill let everyone know who I am dealing with here and you can decide for yourself to use their business or not. Beyond frustrated here

Start every monster mode all at the same time... saving Frank to the last shot... you will see a 6 6 6 flash on the display as Frank multiball starts... finish all monsters to light MOR when last multiball drains, score it to get Rock before Bash 50M bonus. Pretty much tops out MB, with the Lymans Lament being last thing to try for.

Why not just let everyone know who the distributor is? Most of us have dealt with several and can help point you in the right direction. I've never had communication issues with distributors, but that's unacceptable.

Fun thing to try for - I didn’t even know it was a thing until I’d had my game for 3 years- unfortunately the points make it hardly worth it, but it’s still a great feeling when you get it!

What a beauty! Well done cgc , looks and plays amazing. Best remake so far. Wish they will come with a topper and large dmd for mmr.

Doesn't happen much on my game but just wondering if someone came up with a fix....

Loving the game the more I play it, especially after getting it dialed in. I got to monster bash twice and mosh pit multiball. I just needed the Bride to get to Monsters of Rock. Doubled my high score Which is now 328 mil (which is probably low for some).

Stock MoR champion is 100 mil, do you just get crazy points in that mode?

I just got rock before bash the first time.. you get 50Mil just for starting monsters of rock on top of everything else in that scenario.

I thought default MoR champion was 200M, but yes, there are a bunch of points in MOR, especially the MOR jackpot, when you qualify all 6 monsters then hit the center shot, I think?... can be quite lucrative. My GC score is ~560M but I havent knocked the default MOR champion off the top yet. You will know when you score the MOR jp because it says “Monsters of Rock!!!” then the gun shot sounds each time as it bumps your score.

Nope, this is another part of MBr that is true to the OG MB... the sculpt is pretty much identical, and so are the airballs that come with it too...

Mine is definitely 100m, but maybe I lowered it.

So back when I bought this game nib in the 90’s, I was having the same problem with the ball going straight down the middle because of Drac’s feet. I spoke with George Gomez back then and his/Williams fix was he sent me a new Dracula with the tip of his feet cut off. Did not look great but worked 100% to stop the ball from going straight down the middle and right to the right flipper. Wish I would have taken a pic, but I’m sure you get the idea.

I thought MBR LE came with mirror blades?

Yes right, but I love the artblades more, that’s the reason why I kick them out

I like the SOE blades but already had these. Plasma disc changes colors.

Finally got my first Monster Bash mode today. Finally got to put my initials in at 125m.

Hi! I've had my MBr LE for close to two months. I feel bad for those waiting on their machines... I didn't even know MBr was a thing until I happened across reading about it two months ago, quickly deciding that if ever I was going to buy a brand new pin, this would be one I'd love, to then feeling a bit of panic on the 'what if' they've all been allocated, to getting a hold of Planetary and them getting one out to me the following week.
I do love it. I have had to do some adjusting, and still a bit to be done, but it's getting close to playing how I want. Main problems for mine were:
1) left ramp issues... ball would frequently get hung up on the first curve, and took a perfect, strong shot to make it. Had to tighten the nuts at the beginning of the ramp to pull the entry legs down below playfield level, as they did protrude a bit and slot the ball momentum. Also had to pull up slightly on after the curve to make sure ramp had gradual slope. Solved that issue.
2) mosh pit return SDTM. This would occur maybe 20% of the time. Found suggestion to put a spring washer on the kicker, but didn't find one locally at hardware store, so tried a standard washer for starters. Much better, but still get SDTM maybe 5%. So, will still probably order the special washer and give it a try. Others suggested putting a piece of self adhesive foam on the right side of the hole, but I personally don't want to do that.
3) pop bumpers not responsive enough. Frequently, ball entry from top would not even activate pop bumpers, and if they did, there wasn't much action. I didn't own the specialized leaf switch tool, so did order one instead of going at it with my needle nose. Adjusted the gap on all 3, and am much happier with their responsiveness now.
4) got the MezelMod Frank's table, as I loved the pictures on here of that subtle addition. I did have to then slightly bend the wire to trigger a frank hit, as after adding the mod, Frank did not register any hits at all. I would have probably adjusted this anyway, as even before the mod, it took absolutely perfect hits to Frank to register a hit.

My LE was supposed to ship today. Ordered it around the 1st of November. My birthday is Saturday so should be a great present for me .

Just got my l.e. In today and the thing keeps double loading balls during multiball's. Is there a 'unscrew up my nib machine' setting somewhere I can flip?

Please be sure there are only 4 balls in the game. Power off, reseat connectors to ball trough boards and be sure they are on tight. Check that the shooter lane switch isn't binding or sticking in the slot in the playfield it goes up and down in.

So my game is having trouble ejecting balls into the shooter lane. It eventually gets in there but can take 2 or more tries sometimes. Looks like it may be hitting the part where there is a slight bend. I thought I read of a fix but don’t really feel like looking for it. Any thoughts or do I just need to bend it a bit?

In pinball there is only one rule for making these adjustments... fuck with it till it works.

Have you tried adjusting the ball trough VUK in the CGC menu ? I'd try that first. Page 1-10 in your manual or this :

I've never had an airball from Frank, so there's gotta be some adjustment to make to help yours.
