Just got in a Monster Bash Prototype #8 , It had a different front decal under the original. Took off the production decal to expose the front Proto decal

Man I wish somebody would do a scan of that green decal - (or actually that is probably silk screened), I love that color! Why did they change it?!?
Quoted from zucot:I believe Lyman has the code for the skip ramp. Might be able to help make it work again.
Make MB great again!
I remember reading about this on that site where Gomez had all the drawings and sketches ... the ramp was never fully implemeneted and if I recall correctly, the code may have worked for the bash event, but so much else of the game didn't work with that ROM version it was basically unplayable.
...but probably still more playable than Magic Girl! (*rimshot*)
Real nice. Is it running prototype ROMs? Perhaps the skip ramp is the "not used" transistor per the manual.
Quoted from TKDalumni:What made you think to peel it off? Cool!
The decal in his picture was badly wrinkled from the lockdown bar... my guess it he removed the bad decal and found the gem below it.
Nice find.
Presumably the green artwork underneath was direct printed onto the cabinet from the early production run rather than later run decals.
