Monster bash opto switch not working

I have a monster bash that I have been restoring and I have a pretty good issue I can't figure out. Don't get me wrong I am still pretty new to the hobby but I think I did a fair job troubleshooting this one.

My opto switch does not register anything for the right popper.

I tried to swap out the opto switch from The outlane opto and still the same problem. the previous ones work at the outlane spot but not in the right popper.

I swapped the opto board with the exact same model board from medieval madness and same error.

I traced the wires to the opto board and they show a complete circuit to the opto board when using the multi-meter. I have replaced my CPU board with a brand new one from rotten dog.

Any advice?

Hey Crash
With the swaps that you have done already I would still suspect a wiring/connector problem.
The first thing that I would do is make sure that you have 12VDC right at the Opto Photo receiver board (Black plastic base). Gray-Yellow wire. Then check the Blk wire at the LED Transmitter (White plastic base) for continuity to Ground.
Refer to Page 3-15 in the manual.
Then check continuity with game off the following: Orange wire at Opto photo receiver board to J2-2 pin at the 10 Opto Board and Gray wire at LED Transmitter board to J1-2 at the 10 Opto board.
Refer to Page 3-18 in the manual.
The right popper is switch #36.
