Hi All,
So I did something stupid and now my cabinet speaker is not working in monster bash. I have a polk external sub and 3 games, being smart (sarcasm intended) I wired two games into one channel (had one game to each channel working fine for over a year), one game was a stern the other is the monster bash. Was playing the stern for several days and did not notice until a friend started playing Monster Bash that there was no audio. Fuses F501 and F502 were blown, I replaced both and now back box speakers are working, however cabinet speaker still not working. Resistance across the speaker is ~4 ohms, so not shorted. TDA2030 seems to have connectivity to the cabinet speaker output, however I am not sure I tested it properly, checked pins 2 and 4.
Any ideas? Did I fry my cabinet amp? Did I save $80 for a new external sub at the cost of a $300 AV board? If I need a new board, are the rotten dogs plug and play (i.e. no soldering)? Why is the stern still perfectly fine?
Have friends coming over tonight so I may not be able to monitor the thread but I wanted to reach out to the community. Any advice would be great.
