Which version of MB? B/W or Chicago Gaming?

check all the connections.
then need to check voltages.

oh, check fuses too.

You have an original Monster Bash made by Williams. The display looks totally dead, which is caused by a problem on the high voltage section of the driver board. It might be a fuse, but it will probably need to be rebuilt.

You have an original Williams WPC95 game there. Test all the voltages at the DMD power connector. If any of the -110, -100, or 62v is out of spec, ChrisHibler will be happy to repair the A/V board for you.

Also, if the voltages are out, you can go with a ColorDMD and not worry about repairing the board.

How do I check the voltage on the DMD connector ?

Also, the pinball emits 7 beeps continuously , the documentation shows: 7 Beeps: S7 sound ROM failure

Now, any idea what it means and how to fix it ?

Thanks !

I think you should call your friendly neighborhood pinball repair firm and let them take a look at what you got.

Quoted from davidmb:

Post #7 with a multimeter set for Vdc or V== depending on the labeling on the meter.

Assuming the ROM is oriented correctly, sounds like a bad sound ROM. Post a picture of the (top) A/V board.

Here's a picture of the AV Board - Also, I noticed LED100 and LED102 are off on the power board.

You still haven’t told us what the voltage measurements for the display are.

I can see that someone partially replaced the HV section on the board but didn’t replace some of the most failure prone parts.

You have been led to water. Now drink.

As it says in the link ground can be the backbox braid or the side rail.
