Hello Fellow MNfootballers!

I received my MNF Pinball and Unfortunately it arrived Damaged. Big time bummer. The cabinet had packing tape on it. Wow. Can't believe that was done.
Also, the riser under the head unit is completely crushed and destroyed.

Does anyone have a spare riser?

Local woodworker could easily and cheaply make or fix that. Probably won’t find a spare little piece of it.
That’s awful! What the hell happened to the poor thing?!

#103 3 years ago

Isochronic_Frost It's a mystery at this point. But I think when they tried to fold the top down, they weren't paying attention and then they just ripped off the wood instead of using the hinges.

But I've fixed it now.

Yes, I do see that in post 69. Wow it really came out super shiny!
Also, where did you get the cup holder?

Pingulp makes some, you can find them on here. I bought mine off Amazon, you can find pingulp there too, the ones I bought were a little cheaper, and had a handle slot in them. My wife has a favorite insulated cup that has a handle, so the slotted ones were better for me.

Hello fellows!

I am almost done restoring the MNF pin I bought for my dad, and I'll post some pics soon. But I just realized there are a couple plastic pieces I'm still Missing. One of which being the piece that goes just below the field goal posts. It's blue. I've attached a picture of the one I need. Does anyone have any spare plastics?

Anyone know the part number for the 2 white standups? Mine are pretty badly beaten and I’d like to replace them with brand new white standups before I install my new decals and Mylar them so they remain beautiful forever

What other spare plastics do you have? My ramp by the field goal has been repaired and works, but it would be nice to get a new one.

If you’re talking about the field goal ramp in the middle then Good luck. I have seen 1 used ramp for sale in 13+ years of owning this machine. I’ll picture my plastics shortly but sone are yellowed

Man, I didn't even know there WAS a plastic for that field goal spot. Mine obviously came without it. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Here are some spares I just found, I may have more, not sure, have a mess I’ve bag of used plastics from restores I’ve done

Do any of the MNF owners here also own a Stern NFL? Curious to know. I'd love one but never seen one in Australia

Hey everyone! New to the #MNF club, picked mine up at auction on Saturday! Seemed to be playing well but after about 40 games or so this week the ramp started acting funny...staying up when it shouldn't and then after a power cycle reset, not coming up when it should. When I run the "goal test" it correctly was displaying as up or down but the start game credits button didn't do anything but make a small beep from the speaker. Is that goal test supposed to let you cycle between up and down?

I do not know if this is the issue of not, but something i had on mine that was causing some issues with my ramp was that the spacer/ sleeve that the arm rides on that pushes the ramp up was worn through and caused a lot of sticking. I replaced it and i have had no issues sense. Again not sure if its similar to whats happening with yours but it might be worth looking at the mech to see if all the parts are in god shape.

Is there a way to turn up theusic volume? The voices are way loud to where you can barely hear music when volume is adjusted for voice to be tolerable.

Finally in the club.I think this one is above average from what I see. Set the game to hard with quicker timers making it a real challenging game.

Nice looking machine. Not sure I've ever seen one with the plastic over the two center stand ups intact. Also, if you're interested in finding decals for those drop targets that are missing them, Marco had a complete set the last I checked.

Staying in the club because I just pulled my for sale ad.Picked up this game locally with the intentions to bring it back to life, play it for awhile then sell it because I’m out of space. What a gem of a game when you dial it in and set the adjustments just right.Head to head play can’t be beat with a 4 ball game play representing 4 quarters and 3 points added for the high score.Plus the condition was second to none on this one. So thanks for the zero interest in my for sale ad to get me to this point.

Working on a Monday Night football project and flippers are really weak. When you hit the button the flippers barely move. What size fuse is the flipper fuse under playfield? I’ve checked all fuses and they are good.

#127 2 years ago

My flipper wiring is a mess, can someone please post pictures of theirs? I have new coils and rebuild kits to put in.

Good day all!

Just got this as my first ever physical pin. Spent the night going through the machine as it has been on-location for some time at least, in a convenience store of all places. Got it for $750 so I am a happy camper.

Had a few easily resolved issues: the ball drain was not registering, ended up being that it had 4 balls installed instead of 3 which was causing it to not register correctly. The right kickout wasn't working, but was as simple as unsticking it under the playfield.

Now I am looking for your first suggestions for things a new owner should do here. All the parts look to be in good shape which seems like a concern on this table. Thrilled to join this community and want to take care of my new baby.

Side note: we have yet to see an option to enter initials. Does this machine have that? Did a factory reset when I got the machine, and would really like that for tracking if there's a way.

#133 2 years ago

That’s in fairly decent condition for being on location, you did well!
I can only dream of a $750 purchase, minimum any machine goes for here is $3000 and that’s a beat up EM

Thank you. I think a new owner inherited a bunch of machines and this was the single pin among them, but didn't want to deal with maintaining any of them. Didn't know 100% what he had.

I know I got very lucky here. After putting it through the paces the last few days, the only major issue is the left flipper is weak so can't really make its shots easily, but a rebuild kit is incoming.

Where did you get this?!? I’m only 2 hours east of you and have my MNF on location! That’s too funny. There was another MNF on location in NY so close to me that I never noticed?
If the new owner has a lot of machines you should buy as many as you can. $750 is a steal. Your game looks great

The FB marketplace post didn't even mention pinball. I happened to notice it in a picture of a bunch of arcade games. Added an image of the entire ad for reference. Guy said I could come to his shop and check it out, and I didn't hesitate. I happen to have an "alert" for arcade as well just in case.

I'll bet it wasn't listed anywhere. The shop was Sabatino's Pizza a Deli, essentially a small convenience/grocery store with this bunch of arcades up front. I would never have expected to find this there. No other machines though, this was a hidden gem.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the right LEDs to use as replacements for my play field on this?

I've made two purchases so far thinking I had the right thing, and here I stand with no LEDs that seem to work.

Just hoping someone can straight up say "purchase these and they will work".

#139 2 years ago

What lights on the playfield specifically? I haven't been under the hood of mine for awhile, but if memory serves most of the playfield GI uses a wedge base (555), like these:

https://www.cometpinball.com/products/2smd-bulbs

I know for sure the yard marker lights use these, just make sure you get the wedge base, as well as the 555 twist in sockets for each one, in case you don't have them. Like these:

https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/24-8767

I would check and make a list before you order though, because I know there are a number of flashers under there as well that require a larger socket. You'll want the 906 base for those.

https://www.cometpinball.com/products/5smd-flashers
https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/24-8803

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head, but once again, I'd make a list before making another order because I know there are some bayonet base lamps mixed in there as well, like the lights for the skill shot off the plunge.

Good luck, and congrats on the pickup. I love this game.

Aright having a weird flipper issue, what size coil should be on these flippers. Both flippers on my game don’t work. When you hit the buttons the flippers slowly start to pull up. Are they hooked up correctly? I’ve check everything even swapped out driverboards still have the issue.

And the fun issues start to crop up!

My left flipper was definitely weak so I bought a rebuild kit and was attempting the rebuild, but with the kit it seems like the left flipper can't fully "depress" now, with it bottoming out on the metal before it's "up" as far as the right flipper. This is odd.

However the major issue is now my switches for the ball drain and balls loaded aren't working at all. Verified in switch test they aren't registering. Hoping it's a simple fuse or something that blew, an issue I had on a Bally X's and O's recently, but wanted to see what the community here might know.

Thank you!

I appreciate the offer, but I don't think there's any chance I'm getting rid of this. I love this pin so much more than I thought it would, so it's more likely I have someone come service it if I can't figure it out.

That field goal shot is the most satisfying pinball shot I've ever seen.

Paging JodyG

My ramps are good, but the skill shot gets totally beat to hell! Also my field goal plastic has cracked as have others, and the decal for my ramp is pretty rough. I’d love to have someone re-plasticoat the goalpost.

I’ve gotten a ton of air balls whacking the glass lately. I’m pretty sure the sliding bracket has slowly worn out so the ramp sits slightly lower and the ball ricochets off the lip of the ramp into the glass. Anyone know if the metal guide for the ramp motor is repro’d somewhere?
