Gottlieb games don't use molex barrel-shaped connectors--they use mini fit jr connectors.

I don't remember which size is needed for mini fit jr connectors, but you'll probably need both eventually anyway.

This probably why it's still not working--either a poor solder connection, or the wire you left has a break in it. This is not a proper repair.
