I need to replace a lot of the molex connectors under the playfield on my Haunted House so i figured over time i might as well redo them all. Just a shot in the dark but was wondering if anyone had a list of all the housings and pins i would need to get the job done ?
Im assuming i can use .156 for all the under playfield connections ? Im also think that maybe the housings can be reused ? If so , do they need to be cleaned first after removing all the wires and connectors ? My concern would be trying to repin the connector from scratch as apposed to one wire at at time to make sure you put the wires back in the correct order. Or should i just buy all new housings ? Anyone ?
I'm not sure what exactly is under your field, but all the molex connectors I've rebuilt, I did one circuit at a time with regular .156 pins or trifurcons for GI or power busses and grounds. I don't replace housings unless they show heat fatigue or worse. Now, if you're doing it for cosmetic reasons and want everything to be a brilliant white (even connectors under the field you never see) replace 'em.

The plastic connectors for 0.156 contacts are in the Molex 41695 series.
Keying plug, Part # is 15-04-0297.
