Ok, I have done and extensive search on Pinside, but cannot seem to find direction for modifying Cointaker's Color Changing shooter Rod to work with Stern. The way I understand it, a coil sleeve must slide in the shooter rod housing to insulate the rod from the housing so it does not short. With that said, Cointaker has no instructions on how to do this. Do you simply drill out the original housing the size of the sleeve so the sleeve can be inserted? If so, what size bit do you use? Thanks in advance!

Yep, that worked perfectly. I did have to drill the housing a little bigger to receive the sleeve; however, it works great now. Love the color changing shooter rod with the color changing flipper buttons.

Thank you for the help guys. I went with the slow changing rod along with slow changing red/yellow flipper buttons. I also bought an undercab flash kit, but I am going to exchange it for and undercab LED constant on light kit instead. Also installed Jays Planatir mod, Color DMD, lit speaker frames and arcrylic inserts, shaker motor, LEDs for the flashers only, and a powered subwoofer. I really enjoy this machine.
