The post by P2K inspired me to pick up a cart, modify it and make a video for the channel I'm part of (Pinball Mayhem)

Check you cable adjustment - can you get any more travel out of it?

I would disconnect the cable or make sure it is really loose. The valve is pretty touchy

The bracket that pushes the cylinder release pin was bent very slightly but enough that touched the pin.
Bent the bracket and back in business

The release valve is super touchy on these. Tighten the cable carefully - too much and it will come down on it's own.

Mine will slowly leak down, so when I have a project machine on it for awhile I put down the safety bars. that way it only goes down a bit before the bars stop it.

So I bought one of these from Grainger. Quite easy to rotate the handle 180, like 10 minutes, so it folds the direction I want, and it works great...the only downside is that the handle doesn’t fold flat over the cart for storage. But I don’t need the handle flat for storage.

The cable adjustment is very finicky. I just wiggle the cable when I need mine to lower.
