Specs on both in the links. 500 pound is a little longer table. 1000 pound lifts a little higher.

Reading up on hydraulics. Could be several things. Some that break down over time, or even evaporate.

4 bolts each corner - go to home depot and get new ones. The others are probably ready to go too.

I do because some of my games are in the 350-375 pound range.
I found the 500 pound carts a little flimsy when pushing the limits on higher weights.
