I'm planning on going there with a co worker the week of December 9 after the ChemShow at the Javitz center.
Google street view shows a nice pub across the street to have a beer and get a bite to eat. Futher investigation shows that that particular pub has closed. Can anyone recommend any good places nearby? I like to plan ahead.

    Quoted from pinaholic:

Irish Pub reopened as different pub, great Sichuan restaurant but you must get non American dishes(I.e. no beef and broccoli), good pizza close, and a good Mexican right next door. It is in a little Indian restaurant area with dozens of choices right nearby and the very first Shake Shack is blocks away and they make home made soft frozen custard, my personal favorite!

Thanks for the update on places to eat nearby . I like Sichuan and Indian cuisine.
