My wife and I are taking an extended weekend trip this weekend to Manhattan and I'm just curious about people's opinion of Modern Pinball there in Manhattan. Worth going out of the way? It looks like mostly modern games so I assume they're in pretty good shape? Any Pinsiders here who frequent it often? Thanks!

I haven't been there personally, but hope to visit someday. Eddie is one of the techs that works there. He created a very interesting thread that he updates frequently. I suggest you check it out.

I was there just a few weeks ago, definitely worth a visit. Games were in good working condition and the price was not bad, great line up too. Two thumbs up!

Oh, while there see if you can visit sunshine laundromat in Brooklyn. They have big bang bar among other great machines. http://www.pinballnyc.com/venues/sunshine-laundry/

They didn't happen to have in a WWE did they? That would clinch it for me since it's one game I haven't got to play yet. Looks like about 30 games total give or take?

Having read through some of the work Eddie does, I had to visit last week during a business trip I had in NYC. Eddie was there, working on one of the machines. Great assortment of machines and worth the stop if you have an hour to play a few games.

Eddie's the man! It's amazing how he is able to get as much work done as he does, given the ridiculous constraints he works under.

They don't have a WWE, but there is one not too far but you have to take the subway, or can to Long Island City on across the east river in Wueens.
