I have been looking for my favorite machines to play publicly. And I'm finding that places either closed 6 months ago or machines are no longer available at certain locations.
And while I understand the site is relying on member input.
They don't update this site.
So it's telling me there is a Twilight zone machine that I can play 45 minutes north of me.
Yet when I check my Google maps to check the location, it's been out of business for years.
It would just be nice if the site was more up to date.

I think you mean the pinmap being reviewed or verified, if that’s the case change your thread title and any mention of moderation stat!

It's kind of a pointless effort trying to list titles at a certain location. It's called a route for a reason. Operators are constantly moving pins from location to location. I bet a lot of place have also dissappeared in the last two years for a reason I can't mention.

titanpenguin needs to chime in.
It would be great if there was an EASY way to update locations/games at a particular location but it’s next to impossible. Places come and go and lineups change. Just no easy way to do it and keep it accurate. Always best to call a location in advance if it’s not local and you have to travel to it.
Locations are added by members and not the mods….the problem is members are not good at updating when locations close.
If mods are paid to travel to verify/add locations and keep them current then sign me up….I will travel the globe continuously to keep it up to date.

The Pinmap does say when the last time a location has been updated, if it's more that 6 months I usually assume it is inccurate.

pinballmap.com is the most current information available but even that is crowdsourced and low traffic areas may be out of date. The good news is it's easy for anyone to add/update information.
