Very curious to see what the "burning" looks like in a video.

Quoted from HOOKED:Next stop on the TWD train for me is Terminuns.
Quoted from HOOKED:My suggestion...wait to order till you see the vid or get to see one in person.
Anyway hope to be test fitting and adding connections to these on Labor day weekend....time will tell.
Looking forward to the video.
I like the more reddish on the right in this video.
The greater the contrast from yellow to red to dark the more it simulates the look of a fire.
These really look nice.
Quoted from Gooch:They both look good, but the red one please!
...which is the one on the right in my view, Yip
Oh sh!t, your right. I meant right! Corrected. Thanks.
11 months in the making. Still on pins and needles for this mod. Hope the interactive version for the premium/LE is not too difficult to install. Is soldering still to be involved for that version? Does it reset when a new game is started for the interactive version or do you have to power cycle?
Care to share a teaser on the Terminus mod your working on yet?
Thanks for the update, still very excited to see this in action.
Quoted from HOOKED:If we go interactive there is no way to get around the barn going off once the mode is finished.
Technical Question on the interactive install choice:
You have the Premium/LE interactive version installed. You start a 4 player game. 1st player starts and completes barn mode on ball 1. The burning barn looks spectacular. Everybody oohs and ahhs. Barn mode is complete and over, burning barn goes dark. 1st player ball drains.
2nd player begins his first ball. Here is the question: Is the burning barn ready to go again if the 2nd and remaining players start barn mode on their turn or is it done spent and will not burn again for the rest of the remaining 3 players after the first player successfully started and completed the mode once?
I know it's probably a silly question but I have to ask so I can be technically enlightened. Thanks.
OK I get it. I'm most interested in the interactive version now. Thanks for taking the time to respond, I appreciate that. I'm on your list and look forward to tackling this mod when it's ready. Fingers crossed I get a good understanding of the solder point when the time comes.
Installed the interactive burning barn on my LE today and it looks great. Had a buddy solder a tail to the leg of that chip for me as he's experienced in micro soldering and had the right equipment for it. I have to hand it to you Hooked, this mod looks fantastic and it was worth the time you took to get right. And thanks for answering my pestering installation PM's today. Well done on all fronts.
If anyone was wondering I also have Nodyeliab's bicycle girl light mod and was concerned when I realized it is wired in on a different spot on the same board the barn mod uses. Thought there might be a slim chance for an electrical anomaly or some wierd conflict that could manifest, but there was nothing to worry about. Both mods operate the way they were designed to, and in harmony.
I played non stop for a couple hours after finishing up the barn install and everything is perfect, except for me, ...I'm exhausted. You know how it is, TWD gets so freaking intense.
AWESOME GAME INTERACTIVE MOD
Quoted from Bigbossfan:Still would like advice though about the solder job if possible folks!
Reg
All I had was an old trigger solder gun I used for swapping out trailer lights to led. I was afraid I would glob three chip legs together if I tried. So I took the board to a friend that had the right pencil style micro soldering equipment and he attached a tail.
You could just take the board to any cell phone repair shop or TV repair shop where Micro soldering is commonly performed if you don't do it yourself. Takes no time at all.
