3.5 quarts is only like 7-8 beers so you probably didn't puke from the beer. Maybe it was the atmosphere and smelly bar that brought it on!

Diet, colon cancer, shit stick have all been brought up in this thread so I hope you guys don't mind. Posting this a bit humbling for me.

In about 15 minutes I'll be calling for an Uber to take me to the hospital for a colonoscopy. I have it done every three years now. They knock you out for the procedure so its really a piece of cake to have done. Its the 2 day preparation that you go though that is a "pain in the ass".
Some of you guys know what I'm talking about. Still, its not the end of the world.
My lady friend will transport me home afterwards.

Well I have been drying out for days waiting for my monthly pension cheque to arrive, & keep me just above the poverty mark. Not on the street begging for money or at the food bank trying to feed a family. I do like to drink beer, no free oysters to go with my Guinness on Thursday 4 - 6 pm since the patrons were too hard on the staff, & supply was low this summer. Guess other supply chains are still screwed up with Covid. Only about 20% of people are wearing masks on the bus, but health places still require masks (got a eye appointment Thursday am). I have not taken my wife out much during Covid because she has health issues.
Fedex said my parts would arrive a day early today, guess that did not work out for them. I should have some word on when the layout printout should be ready to get this show going. Ben has timed himself out from going crazy trying to save the pinball world from big time scammers like myself after a few months. Ice remains the sole mini whale out there, & Todd from TNT knows one of my local mini whales (will this guy ever stop buying games?). A lot of the regular trashers also seem to be taking it easy the last 2 days. The coach is sitting on his ideas, has the title & theme picked out. Fast Pinball will let me know whether I join the new system with the other homebrewers in September.

Kim: I had my first one at 55 since my mother had colon cancer. Everything was fine for me. In my province you have to have a driver take you home after the procedure. Took the bus to the hospital. They will not give you anything if you are taking a taxi home. So I said go ahead it was only the last few inches that were super bad. Here shit on the stick is a yearly free do it yourself & send it to the lab. Just trying to help catch those that need to see a specialist. Good luck, & hang in there!

Still do not know what people are talking about. Day #2 no beer, likely need some on September 1. I see on the news in Canada they want to put more info that drinking can lead to cancer. Breathing air probably is not good for you either. The world is going crazy!

The transition from whales to timelines to beer appears to have dampened the enthusiasm for this thread. Perhaps the theme reveal will heat things up a bit.

Hopefully. Though I don't think a single theme should impact a company name. So I may set aside some focused time to brainstorm.

I think things have quieted because it's time to sit back and enjoy the show. As the updates come in on the progress I am sure things will pick back up. Otherwise, it has been nothing but a circular argument of the same shit over and over. That becomes tiresome at some point for everyone.

I know at this point, I am here for the 6 month variety show that we are about to be expounded upon.

Wait - didn't you say you were just drinking and having fun during the summer and weren't gonna be drinking during the build because you'll be too busy? Now you say that on day 1 of "serious time" you'll still need beer? Color me shocked.

No whale of a tale here to start the last day. Really surprised no one has gone with Shit Pinball, & with the TPB being dead you would think, or not. The game title still might be Trailer Trash if my personal mini whales want to get in later this year, & want a different theme then the coach.
For now the game & theme will be what ever the coach decides very soon to announce.

Why would I ever stop drinking beer, only maybe when I die. Have to have my friends have a big send off when I finally drop dead, & have a shitload of beer. It is too hot in the shop until Fall to start filling up the pop machine with beer. This will be the place for the local pinheads to come & try out the game. Put a real beating on it! Same with the programmer to see what is going on.

More than happy with the way the build plan is going. No one on the interest list which is good. The less I have to build in 6 months the better. I like how Spooky announced their 250 games TNA games for September 1.

So being entirely fair to John, he has faithfully documented every success and foible here. Now to be honest I think he somewhat enjoys tossing red meat to the lions den. But think of every other company you can. If you were to ask directly, everything is of course going super awesome (even if sales are cratering, key people left the company, their plant just caught on fire). What manufacturer lays out so bare and raw for all to see ? What manufacturer starts off their day with an update of their beer count and what time imbibing will start today ? What manufacturer tells you about the cease and desist email they received ? What manufacturer states they live in poverty and take the bus. John may be starting an entirely new trend of “truth in manufacturing”. In that regard he is one leg up on DeepRoot who urged calm even when the company was imploding. Gotta respect that at least a little.

Maybe I will celebrate the build start Thursday with some beer or not. I would not bet on the super long shot of not on my pension cheque day. Day #3 of no beer today, still do not have the shakes or any other problems associated with having a serious medical problem with drinking beer. But I am sure the medical experts will chime in soon.
