MMR Standard 1084 has landed! Already replaced the speakers with PinballPro speakers, shaker motor and color upgrade en route from PPS. Only had a few days to play before flying out to Pinball Expo today.

No need to detach, just loosen the nut and slide the post down if you want to make it easier. I found that the right is very drain heavy, but that the left is too easy if moved down at all.
