Quoted from northvibe:originals were "misaligned" as well. They are put on by hand, so some look worse than others. They aren't too bad. I'd say, same as original.
Ah, ok. I'm in the batch with black trim and somehow hope I get one of the better aligned ones. The one at LTG's is definitely very off compared to the original he still has there as well.
Quoted from calvin12:most of the originals do not have the start button offset, the offset was at the fire button, which due to the nature of the graphic is not as noticeable. The start button offset is much greater than any original i have ever seen. That being said the fire button is centered perfectly on MMr unlike any MM I've ever seen. original below, Makes no difference is play, just an aesthetic issue. Although the Shope one on ipdb is really badly off. The other one is not.
This has been my experience as well. I have yet to see an original MM that has start button offset like MMr does. It's not really going to bug me, but I have a hard time seeing how it made it into production this way. As one would expect, it was noticed and called out here on Pinside a long time back.
I've been trying to get a response from Twisted Pins for over three months and have gotten absolutely nothing back. What a f*****g joke.
Quoted from DeeGor:At this point I would be looking to force a chargeback. That's a whole lot of money at risk.
I agree. Does anyone know how to get ahold of someone from Twisted Pins? The number on their website doesn't even work!

Any idea what the success rate of trying to get a chargeback through Amex for something like this might be?
We are collecting on our last LE customers and those should be shipping soon.
.... unless you are a TP customer
Quoted from DeeGor:I sent an email to my distributor asking for an explanation this morning. So far radio silence. I'm pretty sure I'll get the same ol' email template that says in the next week or two.
Who is your distributor?
