We finally got some decent time on a pair of MMRs at TPF.

The screen tearing is positively real, and real noticeable. Particularly when the screen flashes, alternating between dark on light, then light on dark. Thankfully, this is the only real time I notice it. Certainly more noticed by a spectator than a player.

Depends. I bought Tron LE from Brent Lane in Austin. Great guy, great machine. Shitty transportation. Still bitter about the forklift marks. 8-[

We learned our lesson with shipping early on. We always completely open the box with the driver present. They get lossy as heck, but it really only takes a couple minutes with a good knife to get the four corners cut and the sides down for boxed gear. And for STI, always unwrap all moving blankets before signing.

Quoted from playboywillis:

So are we the only ones that had lower angled flippers out of the box? On two machines, that's a crazy coincidence.

Had to adjust both mine higher. Mine were aligned higher than the marker pin holes on the field, but lower than parallel with the inlanes. They were at least aligned with each other - I just couldn't make a shot to save my life the way they were.

Quoted from Tkaye:

Anyone else find the glass is really tight? I have ordered some PDI glass and I hope it will fit in there...

Quite tight with stock glass; even tighter with JJP glass. It takes a fair bit of effort to remove the JJP glass.
