I haven't seen any MMr machines w/ a Williams speaker panel installed.
I bought the gold color logo panel from PBL to put on my MMr once it arrives. Even though I chose the black trim, I think the gold Williams logo will look good w/ the gold wire-forms on the MMr.
I bought the invisiglass from JJP for my MMr.
Just waiting on the machine to arrive so I can install it.

My distributor contacted me just over a month ago to confirm my choice of trim color...
have heard only crickets since.
Was told that my MMr will be one the first JJP receives.
Unfortunately, they haven't heard a thing on the delivery of my pin.
Mine's been PIF since July, 2014
Been thinking about selling it though.
No communication at all is making this wait un-bearable.
From what I've read, here on pinside...If you purchased a MMr thru JJP, you can't get a refund. Your only option is to sell.

I've been PIF for 14 months now.
If my machine doesn't come this month...JJP will be hearing from my lawyer so I can get a refund.
I ordered mine thru JJP too.
Requesting a refund from them is pointless...it's NOT going to happen, unless Jack gets a letter from an attorney. Then he'll cut you a refund check right away. I've heard this from several people now.
It's the last money they'll ever get from me.
Looking back, I wish I had ordered directly thru PPS.
It seems JJP is pretty low on the priority list for Rick to ship machines.

I should get a call next week from Chicago Gaming telling me my machine is ready for pick-up.

JJP told me on Friday that they had forwarded my contact info to CGC, and that I should hear from them this week as to when my black MMr will be ready for me to pick up.
Didn't get the call today...maybe tomorrow...

No call from CGC as of yet.
I was told by JJP that I was supposed to get a call from CGC last week as to when my MMr would be ready for pick up.

so much for 1st to pay, 1st to play.
No more pre-orders from me.
If part procurement is causing these delays, you would think, by now, that the MMr build is just becoming one big inconvenience on Stern and their production lines. Makes you wonder whether or not Stern will be willing to participate in remake #2, 3, etc. If PPS finds no other "assembly facility" for the other remakes, will PPS invest in building their own assembly plant from scratch?
At the rate these MMr's are rolling off the line, my guess is that Stern is only assembling the MMr's during their down-times, like when they're changing over their production line between the new Stern releases.
Just thinking out loud here...not trying to cause "waves".

ALL of the leg bolts were inside the cashbox.
Good thing I happened to have a set of new black leg bolts lying around...

When I go into diagnostics on my MMr...it says the software was developed on my b-day...1/22...
The only thing that has kept me from buying my 1st OCD...once I get it, I'd know I'm "hooked"...then I'd have to buy it for all my pins.

I agree...the build is top notch...Mine is black too...Glad I chose that color, it looks great.

I was also told, from day one, that I was one of the 1st to pay in full. My guess is that a lot of people paid in full early...I was just one of the 1st.

I will say, however, that I was a little disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the machine. The powdercoat looks really nice, no question. But when we unboxed the game at the shop this week, the bottom of the cabinet (as shown) was smudged. That's exactly how it looked when we cut the box opened. It's the bottom, not a huge deal, but still..
And second, the entire game (also as shown) was covered in dust. It's like they were doing final inspection next to the sawmill...
But that's only on the outside. The inside is nice and spiffy.
And it looks like they took the outside of the cabinet and wiped the decals down with a dirty rag. Streaky and just not impressed.
That said, all minor stuff that doesn't impact the game, and some time cleaning will take care of it. Just a little disappointed that the guys building the game couldn't do this before it went into a box. I've unboxed plenty of Sterns and never seen this stuff. But Sterns I have seen with dents, wrinkles, and other stuff not present here.

Wow...I can't believe they'd ship something in that condition....I'd seriously complain. Apparently, CGC is just pushing them out as fast as they can. QC ought to be much better than this.
