Quoted from IndianaPwns:

How is the resolution of the translite? Does it look pretty sharp?

If it's the same translite that was at Expo I'd say it's Stern-quality sharp (as far as dithering goes), but slightly more washed out feeling. Looks like an inkjet print.

Quoted from LTG:

They have fixed this and are currently testing it to check that and be sure no other problems.
At some point in the future the update will be released. No set date yet. It is coming.
LTG : )™

Good news. The video shows what it looked like at Expo, so I was assuming it wasn't fixed yet.

I played an MMr last night. Glad to hear there's a fix for the tearing problems, it's not just a video artifact, it sucks just as much as it did at Expo.

Otherwise I'd say it plays and looks great. The soft blooming on the LED inserts looks great, really got it right.

Quoted from epthegeek:

Continuing to beat the same dead horses sure is fun though, eh? COIN MECHS! SCREEN TEARING! MISALIGNMENT!

I do consider a screen tearing an issue. The other two things not even vaguely.

Luckily there's supposedly a fix already.

Quoted from audihere:

I also had done a matching instruction card as well and use both on my game in case anyone is interested

See this Tim? He'll share it with perfect strangers, but not with you!

Quoted from Rarehero:

The glass is smooth and tight. It's actually pretty awesome. It's not hard to get out, it just feels different than the "lock bar off, glass slides off on its own" feeling you're used to.

My Stern Star Trek was like that too. Glass didn't move until you budged it. I have games where the glass wants to leap out. I just figure it's one of those little variations, never gave it a second thought.

Quoted from Wickerman2:

You'd think #2 would be lightning fast in comparison though

Making pinballs is complicated. Making a second one after a first one is still complicated.

Yes, experience is gonna help, but man, things happen. Stern started on Game of Thrones at the beginning of 2014. They know how to make games. Steve Ritichie and Dwight Sullivan and Greg Freres know how to make games. It took what it took, they're still not shipping the LEs.

That's pinball. Just so many moving parts, even after the game design is done.
