Mine is supposed to ship today...but no waybill yet, so I'm not sure.
Expecting delivery about 4 business days after shipping, so probably Wednesday or Thursday.

The truck drive helped me get it into the house...nice guy.
I emailed Cliffy to see if he could stop by on the way home and help me get it onto the legs.

Quoted from jwo825:This is an UNBOXING thread, Mr. Please correct yourself and post the pics of the unboxed machine. OK? Thank you
Quoted from northvibe:Is anyone tipping the delivery guy? I just need it dropped in the driveway, I have a dolly and help to bring it inside.
I gave the guy $40 to bring the game into my house...I usually do it myself but have been sick for about 3 days and didn't have the energy or wear-with-all to it myself. The pic below is him getting the hand truck so we could pull it up the stairs from the patio into the house.
Then Rob Bell came over and helped me get it up on the legs and put into it's space...
THANKS ROB!
The truck driver was a really nice guy and probably would have done it for $20.

Quoted from pudluther:that's the same topper i have as well.....just need my machine to put under it.
Did you get any operational instructions with yours?
Quoted from Fliptastic:How are the translites lit on these? Is it like the original?
The translite is similar, in that it has a back plastic shell.
MMr has LED's and I think a lot less than the original bulbs...I've never owned a MM so I can't be sure about the bulb numbers.

Hold the escape button for about 5 seconds to go into the CG menus...there are the display and other menus.

Quoted from Pinstym:Thought it was weird that the leg bolts shipped in the coin tray (coin tray not accessible while strapped).
I thought the same thing...sort of a hassle to have to cut the head straps to put the legs on.
Robert
Quoted from foxtj24:Both my flippers were bound up when I unboxed.
One of mine was not moving as freely as I hoped, so I took it apart and replace the liner...but it was essentially the same.
So I rotated it by hand for a while and it freed up enough to put it back together and play it...both have similar motion in retracting now.
I will note that the flippers aren't nearly as strong on my MMr as my Stern Star Trek. I haven't tried to adjust the power yet though.
Has anyone bumped up their flipper power yet?
Robert
Quoted from PWhiz:I would much rather wait whatever amount of time needed to make sure that it is built right at the factory, inspected, tested, and given the seal of approval before packing up and shipping.
These things are shipped as soon as they get them put together, as people are screaming for their machines.
I would bet that after a few of the first games, there is no "QC" checks and all of the quality checks are done by the person putting the game together. The sub-assemblies may be checked out via test sets.
That's the way modern manufacturing is these days. Make the assembly work as simple and fool-proof as possible, using sub-assemblies, then assemble the sub-assemblies and ship the final assemblies as fast as possible.
Your idea of a "QC step" is generally non-existent.

Quoted from Vyzer2:Basically the end of summer and less than half of the LE's have been shipped. Just unbelievable and beyond frustrating. Lack of reasons for latest delays is just poor. I don't feel any better after typing this.
When I play (or even look at my MMr) I feel sad for those who signed up and paid way before I did and still haven't gotten their machines.
Not sure why I lucked out and got one ordered in January of this year and received it in April 1 (no fooling) I think.
I think gold looks good on this, but would like to see a black one too.
Robert
Quoted from tdunbar:Can't believe its been a year already and that I've had mine this long and unbelievable that some are still waiting
Same here, deposit in January 2015, remaining payment in March & machine arrives 4/1/15.

Quoted from eggbert52:R&L has some weird new rules. IF there is not significant damage to the box they will NOT let you even open it up to take a sneak peek.
When I got my X-Men, the box was pretty beat up, so I just grabbed a "hole" in a couple of places and pulled it open...so I could inspect.
Bam, done before the trucker could say boo!
Not much they can do at that point.

Quoted from epthegeek:I really hope CGC upgrades to thicker boxes and much better packing material for game #2. Paper thin box and foam blocks in ziplock bags are terrible.
My machine has absolutely no issues due to the packaging...but the box was essentially perfect
