Nice! What's the build date?

Gonna find out in a couple min. My buddy is coming to help me unbox it. I'll post the date when I open it up.

Feb 9 is the build date.

The only issue I had was the moat upkicker wasn't registering all the time. I adjusted and tightened the optos screws and now it's perfect.

I got to BFTK tonight for the first time on my MMR (the first time ever to be honest), didn't beat it but I have to say it was without doubt my single greatest moment (and game) in this hobby, what an adrenaline rush! I mean holy crap!!! I couldn't stop shaking!!! I knew it was going to be intense, but I never saw it being THIS intense or even this FUN!! Not to mention totally unexpected, as I didn't think I would get to it for a year or two! This has been my favorite title since the beginning, but this game I had just played made it pull far beyond my other favorites, like Secretariat pulled away from the other racehorses in the Belmont Stakes, I'm never going to sell this game! It is truly the gem of my collection! Tonight opened my eyes to just how fun MM can be, don't get me wrong, it is fun in general, but DAMN!! It just got a whole lot better when I didn't think it could!! I haven't had this much fun in a long time and am ecstatic right now! Forgive me for this comment being so enthusiastic, I just cannot help myself, it was truly a top notch experience!

It's probably not the best MM score, but this is my final score and am pretty proud of it, my highest score on it so far!

Here is my gold LE MMr. Delivered on palette. Removed box and attached front legs first, then leaned it over onto front legs and lifted back up with my floor jack. Then attached rear legs. The hardware will be inside coin door and the legs are packed on sides of machine at bottom. Plugged it in and turned it on. No adjustments necessary. Played 100% right out of box. The pictures a little bit out of squence, but you get the idea.

Congrats Gangplank! I think my GC score is still somewhere in the 300k range. The way I've been playing lately though, I don't know how I did it. That's pinball I guess. On my GC game I did manage to beat BftK and I was shaking like a leaf! I also remember how excited I was the first time I beat Save the Children. I actually get a little ticked if I don't at least get an EB out of it now. Only ever seen Save the Cows(Calves?) once and have no idea how I got that, nor did I win it. This game continues to have so many little surprises that just when you think you've seen it all...

I've been close a few times to reaching BFTK a few times. I have a feeling I'll see that before I get barnyard MB.

I was excited to see another one, but this one appears to be one picked up 9 days ago. Still cool, but would love to see more MMRs being unboxed, especially mine.

What the heck happened to this thread? It's like all the unboxings have screeched to a halt.

They really haven't shipped much over the last month. Last I heard from my distributor they're supposed to resume this week, but it feels like more BS to me.

Are they shipping with the diffuser installed going forward or still making the customer install them?

I have a deposit on a MMR Standard and just received this email from my distributor. So it looks like they are starting to roll of the line now.

Has anyone heard anything from JJP? Are people still waiting from July of 2014 for their black MMR's?

Rick has stated that CGC has about 200 LEs left in the queue. That would mean they would have to ship 100 machines a week to make that May 1st date. I don't think we've seen that kind of performance in the past.

Alternatively, they could stop making LEs and ship standards instead. This would make me all sorts of angry.

From what I understand they are installing them on machines they feel needs it before shipping. You may want to call your distro and ask them to have it installed on yours regardless. Personally I think they all would benefit from having the diffuser on them. I think mine looks 10x better with after I installed the diffuser. It looks way more like incandescents and there is not an overwhelming center hotspot in each insert.

why not? If there is room/time on the stern line and LE owners are waiting....standard orders are already in....could squeak a few in

I'm glad to see a few people have gotten word, and should be receiving their games soon.

That's wierd because Starburst has picked up golds. And they still have 4 golds for sale.

I sold a couple of pins and just went and picked one up from them about 2 weeks ago. They have had the ones for direct sale for about a month.

Just found out that my game is currently at the R&L warehouse in Tampa and will be delivered on Wednesday. I could have pushed for tomorrow but I have a doctor's appointment then anyway.

Its an interesting theory, hopefully not the case. They were the first to collect payment in full, yet they still have a lot of LEs unshipped.. So sounds plausible but that would be really sucky.

What's the latest on twisted pins games?

Yes, intentionally or otherwise it sure seems like the message is that the only safe way to buy the remakes is through PPS.

MMR #787 in the house. About to start the un-boxing in 30 minutes or less! Just a word to those getting theirs in the next few weeks, R&L has some weird new rules. IF there is not significant damage to the box they will NOT let you even open it up to take a sneak peek. Fortunately below, all looks to be good and the little tear was where the legs were stored so I cut a little piece out to make sure they were not scratched. I went all the way up to a supervisor at R&L and they absolutely would not budge on letting me open the top to make sure the game was fine. So far so good per the pictures.

When I got my X-Men, the box was pretty beat up, so I just grabbed a "hole" in a couple of places and pulled it open...so I could inspect.

Bam, done before the trucker could say boo!

Not much they can do at that point.
