Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:just get some colored gel material (as oin theatre lighting) to put between the LED and the insert. problem solved.
I tried this on Xmen LE, it looks like shit don't bother.

Quoted from copperpot:What did you use? Blue Gel under the white inserts? Red Gels?
Yes under the white factory LED lit inserts I tried red and blue. I used the filter/films you'd buy at a photography store.
Quoted from herbertbsharp:PPS did state their warranty somewhere. It's buried in one of these threads
Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:I agree. I don't like the buttons for plunging. Maybe they make the BOM cheaper...or Williams was trying to seem more modern.
That is a fact it is cheaper to put in launch button than a plunger assembly. I would guess that was the only reason for doing it as well. There's already a coil in place in the shooter lane, so the plunger assembly could be considered redundant (good for reliability to plunge a ball, higher cost).
Quoted from PPS:just let me know what game you want to see the prices dip and then I will say we are making it ... lol
Kingpin or BBB. I would take Kingpin without any hesitation. What is there like 9 Kingpins?
Quoted from btw75:"other:tbd" For it!
Yes very exciting to see the "OTHER TBD". Hopefully it's not just a t-shirt or something.
Quoted from Craig:I believe this has been said before, but let me add my vote for being able to purchase a pin that has Cliffys (and Pinbit plastics protectors, for that matter) pre-installed at the factory. I'd be happy to pay extra for that and thus avoid the hassle of having once again to disassemble a brand new pin.
Rick this would be awesome and is there any chance we can chose white rubber installed over black?
I'm just tired of working on my NIB pins as soon as I open them. I can't help it I always have to put on white rubber with Cliffy colored sleeves, Cliffy protectors and pinbits plastic protectors. This shit takes a lot of time once the game is in my hands and wouldn't take a lot of factory assembly time AS they are assembling the game anyway.
Quoted from Av8:Does LE come with shaker?
I love new pinball smell.
Yes it comes with shaker, ultra wood cabinet bottom, and $100 powder coat job.
Whoever is in charge of the trim color options over at PPS, needs to be fired. Seriously first the mustard gold powder coat, and now for black they go with Stern Pro crinkle black?
For black all you had to do is go with the regular gloss black powder coat.
If I stay on this pre-order it looks like my only choice would be regular stainless.
Quoted from indypinhead:To me, it doesn't look like the crinkle finish.....it looks more "pitted", instead.
Come to think of it the Stern Pro black probably looks better.
Quoted from cooked71:So how will my LE machine be any different than the standard?
.
You get real wood bottom and shaker : / HUGE difference. I'll probably be canceling my LE soon, unless something awesome is added to make it worth while to say in. Might as well wait for a standard or HUO after they nail down production given the current product.
Quoted from Kkuoppamaki:Great news, and I agree on your comment on black nickel. Great color, but not for MM
Two great choices to choose from, but I think I'll go with gold
Yeah I'm sure if black nickel was an option, many wouldn't chose that cause it's not a great color for MM
Quoted from mario_1_up:Well at least we've moved past the great trim color debate.
None of trim colors are great.
Quoted from vex:i wonder if you guys are getting stern pinballs for your 8k or is that extra
lol good one. Yeah those are such an eyesore. $7k+ LE Stern game and you get raw ball bearings.
