Quoted from cooked71:Im on the LE list and just want to ad my disappointment in the LE trims. If it wasn't presented as an LE option, then its no problem. But since this was marketed as an LE addition it should ad value. As it stands, if the 3 options are the mat black powder coat, the baby poo yellow powder coat and the classic stainless, I will have to go the classic stainless. So how will my LE machine be any different than the standard?
They should ditch the trim options as they are clearly struggling to come up with anything worthwhile and instead include invisiglass in the LE's.
Trim be damned. The true "value" of the LE is it'll ship before the standards.
Quoted from flynnibus:Uhh.. because people are paying EXTRA for this trim?
Aren't the standard and LE versions the same price?
Quoted from dhalem:Is anyone else looking forward to the end of 'pin rarity == value' and 'remakes ruin the hobby' discussions? These are toys, people.
I'm more looking forward to the end of trim color debates. :p
Quoted from Pintucky:I am just expressing astonishment at how quick the blow came to fork over the money.
Not sure how you could be astonished it's finally time to pay up, Rick stated a Q2 release way back when MMR was announced.
Quoted from DCFAN:Yes, I don't see 1000 AFMr selling quickly at $8000.
CCr may be the only Bally/Williams game that is left that could sell for $8000 but if it does not have a code update included then it is definitely not worth the price.
I have my doubts with CCr being an easy sell at 8k. Sure the game is rare but it's also not that fun.
Hmmm...didn't get anything from PPS yet. Already had fully paid though, wonder if that could be a reason.
Quoted from Konajack:Still waiting for my e-mail from PPS
Ok I'm not the only one. Wonder if they're just doing verification in waves.
Quoted from Konajack:Is anyone else still waiting for their e-mail form PPS about selecting Trim color and shipping information?
I have sent several e-mails to MMR and Rick but have not gotten a reply.
I have received all other e-mails from PPS and have checked my spam folder.
I have not called Rick yet because I know he has been a busy man lately.
Steve
I hadn't received mine either. I contacted PPS via the website and heard back right away though.
Quoted from scasey:Have you guys tried calling Rick? His number is posted a couple of times in this thread. Something this important warrants a phone call.
Sean
I got everything sorted out via email.
Quoted from pezpunk:absolutely, of course it is. the subject is just getting a little tiresome is all. seems like we've covered the array of responses at this point. but maybe I'm just hungry for new news.
This. Thread has reached 102 pages and sadly most of the discussion has revolved around trim color and coin mechs. It sucks to sift through a slew of posts repeating the same points just to find a nugget of valuable info.
Quoted from o-din:I haven't a clue about production. The funny part was after endless requests for high quallty pics and or vids of the finished product before being locked in, none materialized.
Funny? They had multiple open houses to come play the machine. There was an entire thread of pics and hands on reviews.
Quoted from bigdaddy07:I've never purchased a Stern LE model before so I could be wrong here, but I thought that most of the Stern (LE models) do come with shakers these days.
Don't think Metalica came with a shaker for the LE.
Quoted from TVP:There isn't one person in this whole thread that is saying that they would rather have coin mechs than a shaker or trim or leds.
I'd give up the added shaker for coin mechs.
EDIT: Bad joke. Sorry guys.
Quoted from jalpert:The last official update I believe said the "last days in July." Only a few hours of July left, if they are going to miss their estimated production time, a new estimate would be great.
I think no news may be good news. Rick stated in a previous post there wouldn't be constant updates unless things went off schedule.
Are people buying mods for their MMR yet? Tempted to order some but not sure if I would have compatibility issues. Really like the look of the lighting additions you can get for the castle and trolls.
Quoted from hollywood:Where are those mods sold?? I keep searching….but I may wait until I know they will all fit (i.e. Mantis)
Troll eye kit...

Quoted from hardware:NO. If anything I'll remove parts to sell to help pay my mortgage. This is why having a coin mech would be good. It would be another part to sell.
Maybe NIB isn't for you.
