I had to take the right troll off to make a repair....
Is there some trick to put the springs back in place and then secure with the pin thingy ?
I'm having a very tough time doing the one one next to the ramp...

I am getting popouts on the catapult shot....
Sometimes it even happens when you hit the target in the back and get the gong....
Any adjustments available to not have this happen ?
The catapult shot is hard enough already....

I took a flathead screwdriver, and bent out the metal guide a drop.....
Misses the top of the sling now, and sets up nice for the next shot....
Just wedge the blade between the rubber post, and the edge of the metal guide, and then turn the blade a little.....to push out the metal....
This is what worked for me...

Recently I raised my rear legs increasing the playfield angle slightly. This helped but I still have some balls hit the top of right sling and go SDTM. This is a difficult adjustment to get right and has caused me plenty of frustration.
I understand that you will need to go and do it again in a few weeks, but it is the only way to tweak the machine to fix the issue.....
There is a small gap between the rubber post and the metal, but I have never had an issue with the right orbit shot.....and the balls don't roll down and hit the sling now..... So I am very happy with the outcome of the fix.....
On a side note, finally completed Battle For the Kingdom on my 10th attempt....new high score..... 260,635,380

That is not true..... It only activates the knocker at the replay level awards....not at other extra balls, suck as the 2nd castle, or the Hurry up EB, or if you complete Royal Madness.... etc....
But I agree about the knocker.... I put in a switch so I can turn it off when I play at night.....Switch is mounted on the back of machine.....

The machine is in the room farthest from the master bedroom.....
You can't hear the mechanical noise, or the speakers, but you can hear the knocker....
But during the day I usually turn it on....
New trolls record today...... 47......... that's gonna be tough to beat...

Lots of strategy in this game.....
Looks like the screen upgrade takes away space for the speakers....
Those speakers look smaller than the 5 1/4 that we have now.....
Being that I rarely look at the screen while playing, I don't know if the upgrade would be worth it to me.... especially if it is 1K...
That said..... I'd probably end up with it eventually.........

A1 10 at 60,000,000
A1 11 at 90,000,000
A1 12 at 105,000,000 that's the highest it will go....
A1 13 set to "off"
A1 14 set to "extra ball"
That should do what you want
You can't get Royal Madness until you have done one madness....anywhere from 1 to 5 of the madnesses lit .... or should that be madi.....
Completing Royal Madness should get you an extra ball.....
The more madnesses you have lit when you start multiball, it increases the level of the jackpots....
With all five lit, the super jackpot is 1M..... A double Super jackpot (the lock shot) would be worth 2M....
You can really pile on the points during a five light madness.....
My record is 41,000,000
Once you start a madness with less than 5 lit, that's it..... until you do a Royal Madness. You basically get 1 chance to lite as many madnesses as you can for each round.....
If you don't lite all 5 madnesses before starting multiball, then see below.....
You need to light the rest of the lights, do a Royal Madness, and after Royal Madness ends, you start over with a clean slate, as far as the madnesses are concerned
What I like to do is try and get the start trolls light, and the other 4 madnesses....Its easier to beat the trolls with 3 balls flying around as opposed to 1 ball.....
( of course it doesn't always work out like that )
Then when you beat the trolls, it lights the troll madness light, and you basically start the madness again, with all 5 lit..... and 4 balls....
At this point, don't go for points until you are the master of trolls.....focus on the trolls first....so you get the blue light for BFTK...

The biggest thing with the computer game is when you do a nudge, it is a perfectly predictable movement that you are going to get, and it is the same each and every time.... That obviously is not the case with the real game.....
My high, on the computer game, was about 990,000,000......
Real game, my high is a little over 812,000,000....
The computer game was great for learning the rules of the game.....
It's basically what led me to get the real game....

For me, if they are potentially making an extra ball available, to me , that is the priority....
I guess depending on the situation in the game, you may want to go after castles....
My game isn't a drain monster when shooting at the castle....
But an Xtra ball can be huge.....
Here's a list of the extra balls I have gotten.....
I think these #s are good for default settings, except the extra ball at 28,000,000
1. My machine is set to give an extra ball at 28,000,000 instead of a free game.... Its already free......
2. Lights extra ball for defeating the 2nd castle.... This also lights the extra ball after BFTK, after you destroy the 2nd castle again....and each time after BFTK
3. The first 2 times you make the 6 required shots during Castle Multiball will light the extra ball...
4. The first 4 times you complete the shots for Royal Madness will give an extra ball.....
5. If you can spell FIRE 8 times, that will possibly give you video mode.... extra ball available with that.....another at 40.... tough to get to....
6. If you complete 10 hurry ups, that will light extra ball..... another at 40.... tough to get to.....
7. Merlins Magic Random award extra ball...... that one is pretty rare.....
I have had a game with at least 11 extra balls......
3 on castle attack 2nd castle..... did BFTK 3 x that game.... beat it twice
1 at 28,000,000
2 during castle multiball
3 Royal Madness completed
1 video mode
1 hurry up.....
I know the Pinstadium lights are not inexpensive...... but they really brighten up the game.......
Everyone that comes over to play is pretty impressed by the lights.....
Any game I get will most likely get the Pinstadiums.....
You already know what the game looks like when it is dark, so here is the pic with the Pinstadiums......

To lite up Battle For The Kingdom, you also have to have all 6 blue lights up the middle lit up.....
ie.... castle crusher, which you said you finished, joust champion, catapult ace, patron of peasants, defender of damsels, and master of trolls...
If you are missing any of them, you can't get to BFTK

Oh... ok...
To get the bonus castles, you have to hit the gate a certain # of times... not sure how many....maybe 7 or 8 times or so....
When the gate opens and you make the shot to destroy the castle, you get 7.5M.....
It just keeps repeating that until you get all the lights for BFTK.....
Is there anything not working correctly ?
If it is a switch part, maybe one of the rollover switches....
Also, with the extra balls, once BFTK ends, some of the stuff starts over, so you can get another extra ball after the 2nd castle every time.....
Also, Royal Madness is there...I have gotten 3-4 extra balls from completing Royal Madness multiple times....
I think my record is 12 extra balls in one game....
4 XB from the 2nd castle destroyed....
2 from Castle multiball...
4 from Royal Madness.....
1 from video Mode..
1 from hurry up....
Basically, there are plenty of extra balls available....
Yup.... I have had that happen....
In fact, I try to do it when I destroy a castle during multiball....
Not that easy to do, but I have done it probably 10 times....
