Just had email from my distributor. Have a MMR SE on order. He said he got word they may be shipping in a few days.

Aaaaand......my distributor emailed me prematurely. He DID receive his shipment of classics. Called CGC—SE is still a couple weeks out, per his convo with them.
Sorry for undue confusion. ☹️ Congrats to anyone waiting for a Classic!
Quoted from KozMckPinball:Probably 90% of everything you need to know has already been written in this thread in the past. Sounds like you know this already. Research the thread then ask specific questions that are uncovered is the best policy. I've found a lot of good info here over the years.
There is "a lot of good info here".... 4+ years and >5K posts worth of info.
Any generous soul in the know care to create an index post (or index a previous post) for a reference and starting point for any noobs lucky enough to join this club going forward?
Just an idea....
Thanks!
Enjoying our MMr SE (our one and only pin,) and, honestly, still learning some of the rules. Also, being new to ownership, need some advice on how to make a tweak.
I have realized that the FIRE lanes don't always light during rollover. About 30% of the time the "I" and "R" don't light--particularly when coming off the catapult or damsel ramps, when going at high velocity. I found an old post about this in another thread, confirming this as a previously seen issue:
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/medieval-madness-fire-function-question
From the thread linked above: "I had this issue with my MM as well. My issue is that the ball comes off the ramps so fast - especially when launched from the catapult - that the ball will bounce or skip over the switch wireform.
My solution was to adjust the switch/wireform so the switch is super sensitive and will register when the ball just barely touches it...the metal part of the switch had to be bent a bit more. It was easier to bend by unscrewing the switch and then putting it back."
Looking for some direction on how to make this adjustment, please.
Sad Thanksgiving pinball crisis. (Just had the machine tuned up and flippers rebuilt in preparation for this weekend.)
Ball is stuck on the L side of the moat. It looks like there is a piece of metal hanging down from the chute. When the launcher fires, the ball just kind of bounces up the moat and back into place on the launcher. Once it got launched up into the chute, but the outlet was clearly obstructed, and I had to manually push the ball back out the inlet.
Any advice for a fix to save my weekend, as my house is full of relatives? Please and thank you.

LTG : )
Thanks for the help, Lloyd! Will check it out tomorrow.
Quoted from KING-HENRY:extendable magnet will be your friend as well..GL..
Thank you!!
Turns out…the piece that catches the drawbridge lip at the moat worked itself off and jammed up the moat launcher. Took this noob (and two other sets of eyes and hands) 15 min to repair. Back in business! Thanks for the support!
