Quoted from whitey:From what it looks like a MMRRE is sold out or close too. Limited to 200
Why would they limit it to 200? Makes no sense.

Quoted from Budman:I’m debating over getting MMr with the updated display or MBr. For you that have both, which one Should I choose? I’m leaning MMr.
MMr
Quoted from PtownPin:Ask the same question in the MBR forum and you'll get a different answer....
And obviously they’d be wrong.
Quoted from billrz:This is the best game ever made !
Just played 4 days straight. 4 times BFTK. Finally beating it after this epic battle against the right troll ! But a few games later defeated it (troll bombs are KEY). Some decent playing for me,enjoy.
Could seemed weak in the vid - obviously youd been playing for a long time.
Quoted from dashv:How do I undrain a post? I accidentally drained the post with the Translight pictures on my iPhone (the browser was not loading graphics) I wanted to bookmark it. Not drain it. but then my phone locked up and I couldn’t press undo before it went away.
There should be a small message where the drained post used to be and an "undo" link there.
Quoted from MrMikeman:I would normally agree but in this case the price of a fully upgraded machine(Royal) is the SAME as buying the basic machine(Classic) and all the upgrades separately. Profit margin would be the same. If anything the profit is lower on the upgrades because of separate packaging & shipping.
RE gets the sparkle powder coat armour and coin door so it’s a little but cheaper as a package.
Quoted from mbrave77:Been thinking about selling my deadpool premium and getting a royal. Didnt know they werent available just yet. I love those new rgb effects and the new dmd.
How has build quality/playfield quality been with cgc? Ive only owned sterns so far but have played plenty of jjp as well to compare.
Do it, you won’t regret it.
Quoted from robnotto:Last question I have a nick in the head that I noticed as soon as I opened it. Will CGC do anything about it?
A nic in the decal?
Quoted from TimBoch:That's not a chip.....that's a chip.
Been there since day 1. Not a big deal to me and hasn't gotten worse.
[quoted image]
Isn’t there a cliffy for Merlin that will cover and protect that anyway?
Anyone know if there’s a difference between the MMr CliffYs and regular MM Cliffys?
Quoted from mbeardsley:Wow...never thought about taking a pinball machine on a camping trip before.
You do know these things need electricity, right?
Lol, Takes glamping to a whole new level!
Quoted from KozMckPinball:Exception to that is no ramp protectors are needed in MMR, but required in MM.
Thanks KozMckPinball !!

Quoted from Pin-Pilot:And that new pinball smell is the best!
Absolutely. Just beats the old musty smoke smell.
Quoted from Nepi23:It looks really nice, congrats! Is the coin door also powder coated?
Yes, and apron and speaker panel.
Quoted from Cayenne:is this subwoofer Standard? I have another one in my RE
That’s the backbox speakers- that’s how they came.
Quoted from Pin-Pilot:Not sure why the original game did not come with a piece here. Even if not lit up still looks so much better than blank steel.
I am contemplating how to light the piece as well. westsiderkg did a modification to light the piece. It may be the only option. Just such a tight space.
Possibly it kept breaking on location testing?
Quoted from Pin-Pilot:Ive had mine on my MMR fo a week and it has not broken.
Not saying this will necessarily break in a home environment, and I think it’s a great mod that was likely there originally. I’ll definitely be getting one (if he’ll ship to Oz). Just trying to reason why they’d remove it or not have it in there.
Quoted from Cayenne:my distributor, talked reguarly with CGC, told me that it could possible in some years, but not the RE
For completely selfish reasons I wish they would just come out and say “no more Royals will be made”.
Quoted from Cayenne:nothing broken, the attached srew with the washer (gore) in the mechanic is the problem. if you fix it, it jump out
Dealer told him, its a known problem
[quoted image]
Easy fix - your dealer can provide parts and tell you how to fix it.
Love this game.
This and Metallica are the only games my 18yo son will actually play. So for that it's worth every $.
Quoted from Westsiderkg:So I keep getting the right slingshot hit when coming down the right ramp. Table is level. Wasn't there a earlier post about this? What was the simple solution again to slightly redirect the ball towards the flipper? Tks.
Fround it, nevermind. I am curious what gauge transparent plastic foil works though.
Down the Right ramp or down the right orbit?
Quoted from rotordave:Thanks Lloyd. I’ve had magnetised balls before, but generally not brand new ones in a game with no magnets!
But here we had that. One ball was very very lightly magnetised. That combined with some grooves in the trough, and thats the problem.
Removed the trough, removed the grooves, and replaced the balls. Winner.
PS great how everything is this game is modular ... 3 plugs and the whole assembly came out. Much easier to work on. Nice.
rd[quoted image][quoted image]
I remember you used to be able to buy a plastic overlay for the ball trough Of the original MM’s that fixed that exact problem....nice to know CGC were faithful even in re-creating the faults.
Edit: Here we go.....

I swear I got the video mode qualified yesterday, but it was during one of the multiballs and once multiball finished I couldn’t see how to start it.
Quoted from Kiwipinhead:Merlin hole.
So Merlins Magic is just lit as normal and it selects the video mode?
Quoted from MrMikeman:Get extra balls:
Easiest: destroy 2 castles
2nd easiest: get a super jackpot in castle multiball
3rd easiest: complete 10 hurry-ups
Completing Royal Madness is not too difficult once you get there, gives you an extra ball and scores pretty well also.
If youre going for the perfect stacked multiball (and highest scoring), Royal Madness follows immediately after. If youre playing that well that you got the perfect stack, finishing Royal Madness is not too hard (just 2 hits to every shot on one ball with a short ball save).
Quoted from rai:are they done making MM Royals?
There’s never been an official statement from CGC saying that they’re done making them. I own one but I’m assuming they’ll make them again at some point.
