So I’m going to get a Mmr soon and I am wondering what people’s thoughts on which protectors to use where. Cliffy or mantis or a combo. What is the best setup. Anything I need to do out of the box? Shaker and color will be added soon. I’m also going to get the plastic protectors.

About how long does it take to install the color upgrade
It’s been about 8 minutes and nothing has come up on the screen
Also where does the large chip go? It is not on the directions

Thx I just found the video after I started installing the code
I waited 15 minutes and still nothing
I powered down and then popped the as card out and now no DMD at all
I haven’t even lifted the playfield to touch the other chip

So it will say no signal upon startup but I have zero picture on the DMD

All I did was power off, insert SD card and power on, dmd has been dead since.
I powered back off after about 25 minutes and removed dmd and still nothing
I tried this a second time too

Without the SD card it powers up and says no signal then no picture. If you open the coin door and hit the test switches you can hear it running through them but no picture other than the no signal at power up.
It was working before I put the SD card in, and it says 2.0.1

Unfortunately I have no way to do anything with the small SD card I’ll call automated in the morning and see if he is can mail me out a new one

Can someone post a pic of the inside of the cab where the power comes in
The black and white and white and black wires that come out of there came disconnected and I don’t know which one goes on which side

I have all my plastic protectors and mantis protectors on waiting on cliffys and my dmd to be working. HDMI wasn’t the problem, they are sending out a new board set. Can’t wait to play this thing!

I was hoping my parts would be in the mail today

So I replaced the board in the back box with the one CGC sent and Shazam I have a DMD!

I am having the same issue out of the box with mine
My catapult also sometimes isn’t strong enough to get the ball up and around, sometimes it falls back in or barely makes it to the ramp
Any thoughts

My moat opto was acting the same way, another pinsider said to adjust the bolts on the coil stop but this didn’t affect my ball height/opto level so I put it back, now it has worked perfectly. Maybe it was a loose connection? On a side note how do you adjust the flipper strength and can coil strength be adjusted for the catapult mine will only launch the ball all the way around about 30% of the time, about 45% it dribbles of the end and the rest it rolls back down re registering another shot.

Other than these small issues I love the game! I just need to buy some invisiglass or similar.
