Hi everyone; I sold my nice MM original and bought a MMR LE and the 3 upgrade kits (topper, display and GI kit).
Happy to be in the club and its my second CGC. (The MB LE I have).

My question is if it is feature-wise then fully equal to the royal, or does this have more features?
Are there any other significant changes between 11000 series and 13000 series?

I personally did not like the black that much and am going to make the trims gold.

Thanks for the link. I read through it (before I bought these kits actually) the only difference I saw was backboard illumuniation for royal ed.
However it may be included in the GI upgrade kit; not clear to me.

Hence my questions; did they change anything else on the 13000 series (updated mechs, lights or electronics for example) that is not in the separate kits.

I’ll start reading up here but ai was just hoping someone knew something more

Is there an option to have the original DMD animations?

They are simple, but I like them. Especially on my Monster Bash

Guys a question: I noticed my MMR from 2015 has quite a different color of the blue/purple on the playfield; I find the coloring of the original nicer (specifically in the middle of the game the blue/purple).
My question: The later 13000 builds (SE/Royal), do they have the same coloring?

I remembered when I did restores about 5-6 years ago I could choose at Mirco different coloring on the MM; more blue or more purple. I don't know if these variations still exist, meaning that if I get another game I can get a different toning of the color.

Can someone reshare the instructions to get the popbumpers to RGB; I can't seem to find it...

Question: Can someone provide some clear pictures of how the royal edition powdercoat looks like (in daylight).

I think it’s sparkled but looks black on most pictures.

First: CGC announced more upgrade kits to be available soon, please wait for those.

Second, I advise anyone to avoid Freddy’s pinball…
I bought the topper kit early this year at Freddy when it was still the ‘normal’ price of roughly 720 euro I think (have receipt)
Now when they are sold out on most places, they start asking almost 1000 euros (obviously in the mean time their site said ‘sold out’). even though they are an official cgc distributor??
The retail price was USD 700 if I’m not mistaken(in europe you need to add 21% VAT).
Shouldn’t they stick to list prices?

You all should know that Freddy’s pinball here in thr EU is famous for telling you the parts/game you just ordered is sold out (especially CE’s of JJP games), unless you cough up cash and 50% more than market retail price, and then you can come get it anyway.
They don’t sell all games/parts to be distributed to customers, they ‘hide’ a certain percentage to sell it later off the market or at higher price, just that you all know.

I think they got a bunch of complaints at JJP, at least they know about it…

I’m working on fixing an MMr with RGB GI kit, that had stopped working.

RGB on the display panel works, but none of the GI.

I checked cables but nothing found. Anyone has any ideas or a similar experience?
What should I check next

Quoted from LTG:

Broken wire or bad connection. If wire could be inside the casing you can't see. Grab the old meter. Check power and continuity.
LTG : )

What voltage should I measure? It is RGB so I assume a voltage between the colors and the ground?

Are there any fuses in the RGB PCB?

I

Quoted from northvibe:

Do you still have the original white gi strings?
You could unplug the gi, and test one strong at string at a time. You could test that there board is out putting where the gi plugs in but be very careful as you don’t want to bridge pins with the dmm probe

No it has the RGB kit.
It worked and it stopped working.

I’m clueless. Can it be the board?

Anyone has a standard display panel for sale (so what comes out after you upgrade to the XL display)?
I'm looking for one. PM if you have one.

Hello MMR owners!

I’ve been busy making a fully interactive apron for MM:
-individidually lighted castle towers
-lightning blades
-front side light blades
-I made interactive troll lighting (bottom side lighting).
-Currently: black semi gloss. Will be silver sparkle maybe.

I’m currently making 1 for me, but I may make this into a mod if there’s is sufficient interest, I can make a separate thread.

PM or post here your thoughts

these are some pictures of my prototype, I haven’t finished the lightshow yet but it gives an idea of what it does.
