Quoted from VegasAlleycat:

I had the date/time issue happen to me last night. Hopefully PPS/CGC can figure out what is causing it.

They have. And this is why people with any problem need to open a ticket so we can help you.

I filed my ticket on the date time credit dot issue

A fix is being tested. Should be out in a week or two.

Any time you don't hear back in one day, please pm me with the ticket number and I'll look into it.

Thank you,

With the docs that ship with the game - who does it say to call with tech support issuses? CGC / PPS / or distributor?

Not sure. I would contact your distributor. And open a ticket on the help desk. http://www.chicago-gaming.com/ Left side under Support.

And call the CGC phone number. If I'm not on the menu, ask the operator for MMR Support.

So CGC is handling tech support?

It is all going through them.

and the ball bouncing off the flasher from time to time?

Loosen the wireform and move slightly and retighten. Aim it a little better.

Quoted from CraZyMuffin:

Still no slingshot replacement kit here.

I put in a ticket 7/14, response 7/17 saying it will be shipped out, ticket closed 7/22...

I also put in a ticket for replacement side art (has a screw driver dent from the factory), haven't received that yet either.

Please PM me the ticket numbers so I can get CGC to look into it.

Thank you,

Quoted from peaceboy666:

how do i adjust catapult it so it doesnt come flying off the habitrail as it comes round the bend off of catapult.

Up by the left rear castle tower the wirefor for the catapult is bolted to a hex post. Loosen and move 1/4 inch at a time until you get it dialed in. Left or right.

Quoted from surfajl77:

The screws seem to tighten or loosen the spring, but not much else that I can see to make a difference.

Nothing to do with the spring. There is a bar the lever moves back and forth. The screws raise or lower that bar. The spring holds it into position.

Quoted from bodaggly:

Thanks in advance if anyone spots a pattern!

I know you've gone over all the connectors. But this really looks like an open line from transformer to power supply board.

I'd unplug the game, and starting back at the transformer, wires leading from transformer to power supply board. Unplug each connector you run into, look at both sides over for a male or female pin sticking out. Then plug them back together and push together really hard.

#461 7 years ago
Quoted from bodaggly:

All three connectors I could find are well seated, have male and female pins

Did you unplug them, check for pins sticking out, and plug them back in ?

Quoted from bodaggly:

Should I remove the plexi cover on the power supply board and check those?

Yes, please. You aren't voiding any warranty. I'm MMR tech support and telling you to do it.

Quoted from bodaggly:

Is this Lloyd?

Yes.

Quoted from bodaggly:

Any other ideas?

May as well go over the underside of the playfield again, and up into the backbox. Otherwise we are stuck until the engineer contacts you. I know when you moved the playfield once things got worse, may as well go over the main cables in the rear and check what they may be moving.

Quoted from bodaggly:

Well, I found loose screw number 4. Right above the copper coil (transformer?)

Sorry this happened. I am glad you found it and can now enjoy your game.

Quoted from hollywood:

Flat black piece with 4 holes

Goes over the power cord on the rear of the cabinet. Use silver bolts to attach it, unless they are bigger - then they are used to bolt the head to the cabinet inside the backbox.

Quoted from hollywood:

cone shaped piece?

Your tilt bob. Narrow part up wide part down. Secure it to the rod on the tilt bracket.

Quoted from hollywood:

.set it up and there was no plug to plug it in ?

Power cord ? get one at a computer store if you can.

Quoted from hollywood:

Who do I call for that? I tried to open a ticket with CG but it keeps saying error 404.

Comcast had a big outage yesterday. May not be resolved yet. So not much CGC can do right now to accept or respond to anything.

Quoted from NicToria:

Is this the part I need to get ordered..

Yes, if that is what broke.

Or, did the screws come loose and the face fell off ?

Remove the troll carriage, one connector below the playfield, one bolt holding the carriage collar to the plunger. For the left one remove the wireform over it, then lift up, turn left so the thing that triggers the up/down switch clears the playfiled. Then you can easily work on it at a bench or table.

Quoted from andrewket:

The fix I believe is to bend the through a bit.

DON'T DO THAT !

The coil/plunger upkicker is fastened to the end of the ball trough with four screws. Loosen it, lower a tiny bit. Retighten.

Your plunger is up a tiny bit too high. That whole bracket is adjustable.

Your game is too new for any of the old things like magnetized balls or divots in the bottom of the ball trough.

Quoted from andrewket:

I see where I can change the coil power up, but it seems to be a global coil setting. Is there a way to adjust just this plunger?

You may have lowered it too much.

Quoted from BigBangBack:

Have you ever seen anything like this?

Yes I have. Same issue on many original MM's too.

I'd loosen the bracket under the playfield. Slip a spacer or washe between left side of bracket and playfield, retighten the screws.

Then the ball sits in there better and gets a better kick out.
