Recent reports from a few MMR owners on PPS's site is that the left joust shot is rejecting balls roughly 1 out of every 5 times. Ideally, the ball should be smoothly making its way all the way back to the jets. The culprit seems to be the left VUK weldment that shoots the ball out of the moat. The two problems that I see from this are 1) frustrating gameplay when trying to achieve Joust Madness, and 2) the balls are getting damaged from the direct metal on metal hit. Damaged balls = damaged playfield.

Any other MMR owners experiencing this?
Does this happen on the original MM sometimes? I don't remember this happening on the ones I've played but I've probably played less than 50 times in my life.

Not trying to stir the pot. Just trying to find out if this is a rare problem that just needs some minor tweaking or something more widespread like the slingshot issue. I talked to Doug at CGC and he is looking into it but had not heard of it being a big issue.
