Quoted from xrayman:

Bad setup or is this what this game truly is?

Front legs were jacked up, back legs were low. They made a great game, but set it up dopey.

It's not a Stern game. Chicago Gaming Company created it licensed by Planetary Pinball. Stern was contracted for manufacture.

Quoted from xrayman:

Don't care for Stern feel while still respecting the company for its historical role in saving pinball.
Please explain why the premise is ridiculous.

Because it's NOT A STERN. Stern didn't design it. It's not using Stern parts. Their factory is assembling them. That is all.

Quoted from xrayman:

Who designed it is irrelevant.
How does it play in real life out of the box?

It's absolutely relevant. Stern didn't design it so why would it feel like a Stern?

Everyone who's played it so far has said it feels and plays great.

When I played it at the Chicago show (after they fixed the legs), it felt and played great.

The electronics are a bit different but it's using the same parts the Williams version did.

Number one. Agreed. Please be thankful. One less person in marketplace for stern garbage. Keeps price down. You are welcome..
Number two. Discussion is about game play and feel. Is this machine heavy or light. Is play field super slick or not? Don't change the subject..

Why would it be light!? It's literally using all of the same mechanical parts. Playfield is double clearcoated. Everyone who's received one so far says it looks amazing. It looks, feels, and plays like MM!

Quoted from xrayman:

What is relevant is this...
8k x 1000 games is 8m
Don't ever risk f up of sales when this kind of money is on the line.
Presentation must be 100% positive or doubts will occur and persist...

You clearly have a chip on your shoulder and would probably not be happy with this game. Don't buy one. There, you can stop trolling now.

How could it not be lighter?
Look at the main computer in head compared with old.
consider advances in technology over last twenty years.
Should I purchase this thing, im considering as mod the permanent agreement of 45# weight to bottom cabinet.

It has boards attached to the bottom of the playfield, a shaker motor, and a thicker cabinet bottom. I'm sure the weight difference is negligible and has zero impact on the feel or gameplay. I can't imagine weight of PCBs inside the head of the game remotely make a difference in how a game feels. WWE has the new small Spike board in the head. Have not heard one complaint about light heads. lol

Unboxed weight of original vs weight of MMR?

I'll let ya know when I get back from benchpressing my games, bro!
