To me, it came across as a dig. Doug's report took some effort and work. Being critical of his pics just seems like something that would be better left unsaid. He made do with what he had and i think it was more than adequate for the report.
And I have very thick skin and am not sensitive to criticism. Just think the shitty camera comment was classless.
This was pretty much my perspective. I don't think many people who read the thread would be in awe of the clarity of the photos. But they are what they are, and they make what would have been a pretty good story into an awesome post.
It would be like coming home with at 98% on a test from school and having a parent say "what about the other 2%?"
