Not sure how they'll charge for it…LE's and standards will run off the same hardware. It'll be an update with a USB or SD card. Will each standard have a unique code or something? I have a hard time seeing that happening. Once the dots are colorized for MMr, it should just be considered an added-value feature that will undoubtedly sell more units.

Just don't see that being enforceable. Once the code update is out there, how would you prevent the standard owners from just using it and updating? Oh well - we'll see I guess!

There are 2 updates that need to be released. The pre-color update (w the tearing issue fixed and other bug fixes)...that will be free. It must be done first before the color update.
If the color upgrade is free too, that would
be a a fantastic surprise.

Standard is the same prices as an LE, minus the plaque, colored trim, shaker motor, and thicker cabinet bottom. Not sure how that's better off...but hey, if you wanna wait longer and pay more for less, be my guest!
