    What happens - the problem:

My machine will not boot correct every 5 times or 10 times
Sometimes its the first boot that fails
Sometimes i can switch it on 10 times without a problem and the 11th failed

    what happens

    A: All flasers are ON
    Motor is running
the most coils are ON after a moment the FUSE F1 will blow if condor is closed
as you can see on the video the gamerom itself is running at the eft

    Total Minimum about 10 times

So if you start the machine with closed condor and it happens you must change the fuse

B: only 1 time (Sunday) i got a error massage PF not found
i never had this the last 2 days only problem A

What must be done if it happens?

You switch the machine off and on
    it will boot FINE
Not necessary to touch a cable or move the pf or cables nothing
    just switch off and on

When its booted OK , everything is working perfect in gameplay and also in single test mode
and you can play 30 min or longer without any problems.

you can switch it on and off XX times without a problem and the FAIL again the same problems:

What have we (i and LLoyed) tried until now:

controlled all connectors at the PF boards and backboard
checked every coil if its isolated and all connectors and cables
now led or GI cables are shortcutted (if booted all works fine)
no difference if the PF is open or closed
checked LAN cable and reseated it also swapped the cable to a new one

removed all screws of the big board and shakes it if there is a screw or my be other dirt that makes sometimes a shortcut

    nothing found
    nothing fixed it

Mirror blades: yes i have it installed, still with the decal on it and there are no cables what could be shortcutted
If you notice the red logo this i just connected with a cable outside of the machine to a PSU has nothing to do with this problem

    my logic:

its not a problem of the position of the PF (opened or closed)
    not from the cables
its like sometimes the main pcbs at the backbox brings the big pf-pcb at the start in a undefined status and all outputs switch to ON incl. coils ( cannot tell if its all coils)

I have no idea what i can check more i already invested 2 days of work for testing.

the machine itself is in perfect optical condition no scratches and it plays great.

i hope CGC and the engineers have more ideas on monday

VIDEO 1 That whats happen when it booted failed

also 2 pictures of different crashes, it looks like always the same outputs are active (leds)

    any ideas are welcome

    tom

    Here is a new
    Video!!!

2 x Boots in exact same position
    so it is (i think)
    NO Cable /shortcut Problem
    NO temp Problem

    1 x failed

    1 x OK

and i think if the coindoor would be closed at the failed BOOT
the Fuse F1 would be blown again

so i must start better now always with open door

hope to get a info soon

    very disappointed at the moment

    thank you

Was the game working before you worked on the lockdown bar receiver, or did you put in the mirror blades and it started ?

    Just a Update

Tomorrow morning i bootet the machine with open pf and closed coin door 4-5 times
    without any problem

    and then

    bootet

all FLASHERS are on and the most Inserts are on the lower not like you see at the video
and because the coindoor is closed
i hear a short coil noise

and the fuse is blown again

did not move anything just touced the powerswitch
already checked all wires, all coil connectors,…

change fuse to 4A (the only i have in stock at the moment

    restart the game again

everything is working without a problem
in coil test all coils and flashers

    When this „crash boot“ happens

    - the LCD is running OK the game is running the Color ROM is working ok

i have no idea about the construction, sounds like the pcb under the PF will not boot ok and activates the outputs sometimes and crashs
and all coils is to much for the circuit.
just the pcb in the backbox (because game at tft is running)

have no idea what i can do more then swap pcbs

    Quoted from kapsreiter:

No shortcuts at the lockbar or mirror blade

Was the game working right BEFORE you worked on the lockdown bar or installed the mirror blades ?

    Simple answer. Yes, or no.

i just have done 1-2 test games

so YES the problem was there but not noticed

there are no cables next to the mirror blades or the lockbar

i just adjusted the lockbar 1-2 mm and the blades have no contact to cables

10 times the machine boots fine then all inserts and coils are on

must be a pcbs problem mail sent.

    when the machine booted ok
i can open and close the play field a view times
    can shake the cables
    there is no problem

lets mail on monday when you have talked with CGC
