I think everyone will be pretty happy to have those new dots as long as they aren't silly with the price. A decent discount to to LE owners will definitely help.

They have said PPS will probably have them next Thursday - so set your expectations to October 1st to avoid disappointment.

Another happy MMR owner here, a very fun game - not quite up to TZ or IJ I suspect in terms of longevity in my collection, but I will be enjoying it for a number of years yet (I have yet to get to
Battle the Kingdom).
Don't care too much about my 'less than black' inserts and the diffuser to my surprise made quite a positive difference. Everything else
I would have to say is perfect.
The $200 price for the new dots is within reason - the most annoying thing about that is the ridiculous postage of $65 to get it to me.
As for the complaint about 'customer service' from PPS/CGC - that concept doesn't actually exist in Australia (probably because we hate tipping) so my expectations haven't been very high in that regard anyway. That said, I sent an email about getting a diffuser and got it a few weeks later so no complaints at all.

So I just received and installed my chip. I have to say, the coloured dots are sensational. The attention to detail is exemplary. Those pictures posted earlier with flaws...these cannot be seen by the naked eye, they are nothing to be concerned about, unless you suffer from OCD. CGC has smashed it with the MMR animation - it's what every future Stern should aim for.
As for the price? $200 is acceptable to me as it has a greater positive impact on the game than I can think of any other mod (ColorDMD and Pinsound included).
