Looking forward to the color animations for my LE, i just received my shipping notice today.
I ordered 2 coin receptors for my MMR even though I have yet to actually put coins in any of my HUO machines because somehow it seems incomplete w/o them. That said, I am grateful Rick put the energy into making this remake and thank him for doing so. Coordinating something like this is not easy and we should appreciate that.
Fortunately, these costs are a nit for me and I like to tinker with the machines (I don't plan to buy an airplane because I hate to fly). However, I can't argue it would have been better to have it all at once for one price; but we have to acknowledge the entrepreneurship that went into pulling this all together. I, for one, want to encourage those willing to take the risks to build these machines to do so that we can all benefit from more availability of classic and new games. Ultimately, competitive pressures and buyer feedback will drive improvements in quality and technology so feedback - good and bad - should be considered a gift.
The net for me is the resurgence of interest in pinball is exciting and I am looking forward to the dissenting posts which have made this thread so interesting. Not that anyone cares what I think. Bring it on.
