I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. It is awesome playing a brand new machine and it is all I expected it to me.

However, I am not one for pre-ordering and will never do that. I was one of the lucky ones who was in contact with a distributor and asked when/if an LE becomes available/unclaimed/returned/whatever, to let me know. A month after I officially said "I have the money waiting, let me know what you get", I was the proud owner of #66. Got an email on a Wednesday that it was shipping for Friday delivery to them. Friday I heard "Maybe Monday, truck came and your pinball was not on it". Then an hour later I got, "Another truck came and yours is here!". 2.5 hours later I was at their place loading up my MMr.

I agree but I wouldn't say I was late to the party. I just didn't partake in a pre-order purchase, knowing full well from past experiences with other items and goods how those go.

However, from what I understand, mine came by way of someone getting tired of waiting and cancelling the order.

Teekee, totally agree. those that are still waiting have completely been hosed in this exchange and I do feel bad for them as it is not right. But I also agree that regardless of what happens/happened, some of them as well as others will be waving their money at the next pre-order.
